Hi Chris, Probably the ones you are seeking are Cordeaux Dam, Cataract Dam, Avon Dam all located in the Southern Highlands area around 70-90 miles south of Sydney. Fire up Google Earth, navigate to Australia, NSW, and type in those names or search for towns Bowral, Mittagong, Appin MossVale. Each dam has a picturesque downstream river with gorges plus picturesque valleys leading towards the main body of water. The pink flowering trees ... in that area (Southern Highlands) you would find Magnolia, Lilac, Crepe Myrtle & Prunus Elvins in streets & yards though in the wild most likely only Magnolia & Lilac. It's quite possible there are stray wild trees of those species beside the rivers. Cataract Dam has several buildings, gardens, carpark & picnic ground nearby so perhaps there you might find such a tree. Follow the rivers downstream from each dam ..... maybe what you search for is there. Cheers.

Thanks again, Ramirez, but for some unknown reason my Google Earth is fixated on Israel. I've never been there myself to look at anything that I recall so I don't know why that is so. If I go anywhere on the planet within about 3 secs it just returns to Israel no matter what I do. I can't even use it to look around my home area in Japan. So it's a totally useless "service" for me. Have tried downloading it again to no avail. Google search maps do work. If anyone knows how to overcome this bug or whatever it is I'd really appreciate hearing from you. BTW those lilac trees are almost identical to what I saw in the dream. The tree apparently flowers in mid spring so it looks like the timing is a couple of weeks to a couple of months away, probably towards the end of the month 25-31, Sep., Oct., or Nov. at around 9:15 or 10:15 AM. I've found a NSW gov't email address and have sent them a heads up email. Thanks for your assistance Ramirez. Chris Use to the full both your heart and your head; and never lose either.

Hi Chris, Uninstall the program then navigate to it's former folder and manually delete it. You might have to then use something like Registry Shower which is a free program. I have the 2007 version. This would clean up any residue from Google remaining on your machine. With a clean install there should be no problem. Download a fresh version from Google. Set your screen resolution to 1024 X 768 which seems to work quite OK. Overall it's very easy & trouble free to use. Cheers.

Hi Ramirez, I have managed to eventually uninstall Google Earth. It wasn't easy at all, and even now I don't recall exactly how I did it...and it was only yesterday! After uninstalling I still had to trash the Google icons from the desktop and then delete from the trash to re-start clean. Reinstalling was equally problematic, only the Set Up would download. But I was eventually able to do so after reading a Google search on similar downloading problems and un-checking a certain pre-checked box when downloading GE. Even then immediately upon going somewhere it would automatically and continually go to the middle of the Indian Ocean as the home of a Richard in China! It seemed I was back to square one! Right clicking and deleting him on the globe and in the left hand window which he inhabited somehow, and each time he turned up, he eventually disappeared. It seems to be working OK now. Thanks, again, Ramirez. Chris Use to the full both your heart and your head; and never lose either.

Here is a link to an ecosystem toxicologist talking about the implications of BP's use of dispersant in the Gulf. The running theme of the videa is that the stuff is poisonous. Worth seeing, if you feel the need. http://www.earthboppin.net/talkshop/enviro/messages/2705.html Love is always the way

Been hearing about this fire-driven radioactive fallout coming from Russia. If this is really the case, because the resultant particulates are very small, they should stay suspended in the atmosphere long enough to spread across a large portion of the Northern Hemisphere. How large, I really don't know. Here's a relatively scary link: http://www.kavkazcenter.com/eng/content/2010/08/07/12359.shtml Love is always the way

Gulf Oil Spill Update 27 August. 7 minute Youtube video interview with Obama's man in charge Thad Allen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmZv--Yu7rA His assumptions: The spill was 53,00 barrels a day X number of days which underestimates by more than half the Plejaran measurement of 122,400 barrels a day. Somehow miraculously 76% of this underestimated 53,000 barrels a day have been "accounted for" ???? meaning this implies that it's no longer a danger ???? is this fantasyland wishful thinking to reassure the public ??? So where exactly did the alleged 76% vanish to ???? ..... maybe the answer is here: Youtube video 3 minutes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwM1vMpdyok or maybe this is more accurate ....... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eol6mVRXC8 Then come claims no oil is leaking into the gulf from the capped wellhead. Maybe, but oil continues to leak from nearby fissures which le admirale conveniently fails to mention. Another corporate snow job presented courtesy of ..... those who are paid to present corporate snow jobs. Three towers collapse after being hit by 2 planes. Iraq was crawling with terroristas and Saddam had access to nookleer weponz. It's the way some persons think .... whatever sounds right to justify a particular agenda is presented as being right. Gulf Oil Spill recent PR snow job. What you will find is literally hundreds of videos with key words "gulf oil spill" saturating Youtube in a campaign to overwhelm serious investigative reporting and information. These videos are all about ..... "event together to raise funds for the oil spill that occurred earlier this year at the Gulf of Mexico. We are working together with Caring Lives," ..... in other words another celebrity based money making scheme as a distraction .... first there was band aid now we have oil spill aid. Cheers.

Bjorn Lomborg has been one of the leading scoundrels who has dismissed sustainability concerns on Planet Earth, notably among them, overpop. He has apparently now re-thought his assessment. 'Bout time. The depth of his previous arguments were amazingly shallow. I always wondered how such a person could actually be considered an academic. Let's see what he adds to the tempest now, if anything. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/environment/globalwarming/7972383/Climate-sceptic-Bjorn-Lomborg-now-believes-global-warming-is-one-of-worlds-greatest-threats.html Love is always the way

I guess it's enviromental. Christchurch (hmmm is this a message for christ's church) New Zealand damaged by a 7.1 earthquake 4.35am 4th September 2010. Damage is evident, no deaths, over 100 injured so overall not to dramatic compared with Haiti. Here's an 11 minute NZ news broadcast: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5N7bmg_5eA&feature=related Cheers.

This morning I noticed a very unusual string of relatively strong earthquakes. All of them are along the subduction fault line that leads to San Francisco. They are almost equally spaced which means the entire Pacific Plate is moving. According to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network, the quakes in the last 24 hours have been 4.2, 4.9, 5.0, and 5.6. With the combination of seasonal changes of the sun's gravitational pull along with the closest approach of the planet Jupiter (75 million kilometers closer than usual according to spaceweather.com)...both of these changes appear to be peaking on Sept 21. Will these peaks and the fault fractures trigger the next big San Francisco quake? Don't know, but the size and frequency of these recent quakes are very disturbing.... |

After noticing the disturbing earthquake trends on the fault line leading to San Francisco, I realized that the recent pipeline explosion that killed four people in San Bruno, CA, was located very, very near the fault line that is continuing to rupture.... San Bruno, is between the San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Coincidence? |

Some interesting updates about the prediction regarding San Francisco earthquake Los Angeles 'Big One' Could Come Sooner Than Expected: Study http://news.discovery.com/earth/los-angeles-earthquake-overdue.html " * Over the last 700 years, powerful quakes have struck the region every 45-144 years. * The last big 7.9 magnitude earthquake hit Los Angeles 153 years ago; the next is overdue. * If the "Big One" strikes, 2,000-50,000 people could lose their lives. " 3-D Simulation Predicts LA Will Bear Brunt of the 'Big One http://news.discovery.com/earth/the-3-d-simulation-predicts-la-will-bear-brunt-of-the-big-one.html#mkcpgn=emnws1 "Any time there's a magnitude 8.0 earthquake, you'd expect a nearby city to get walloped. But according to a brand new simulation of what would happen if the "Big One" hit the San Andreas fault in southern California, the shaking would be particularly severe and last much longer in Los Angeles than in other parts of the region." In the past hour...a 6.9 quake occurred in the Gulf of California. This is a very large seismic event on the same fault line tht leads to the San Andreas fracture zone. As these ruptures happen on one part of the line, they usually progress. A "release" of pressure in one area will "add" pressure to another area. The full moon helps magnify the gravitational tugs that can generate these quakes.....could a really big event be around the corner? |

Just another one of the matters that is disucced in Contact Report 45: http://www.tampabay.com/news/environment/water/45-foot-deep-sinkhole-opens-at-south-hillsborough-landfill/1140144 This sinkhole is in a landfill in Lithia, Florida. What makes this problem worse is that there is a water table that is 100 ft below the landfill. If the sinkhole keeps getting bigger, it could go into the water table and contaminate the water. |

A very deep 7.0 earthquake just happened in South America. It will go unnoticed because of the lack of surface shaking. At a depth of 362 miles, the surface shaking seemed light. The problem is that a deep release of that magnitude could be a precursor to a very large surface event in the near future. What a way to start the new year.... Johnboy |
