Thanks Ed,

In the future I am going to create images, inspired by "Asket's Acquaintanceship". It must be one of my favourite stories, so it will be an absolute joy to make them. I can already see them in my minds eye...

I wrote this song for a video some years ago:

The Ballad of Roswell

It was the start of the greatest cover-up in history when...

A rancher named Mac Brazell found some wreckage and debris
the stuff was so unus'al that the Army had to see
Major Jesse Marcel thought it wasn't from these these parts
an' when they plot to cover-up it's then the rumor starts

That ship's skin was thin as foil strong as steel it's a fact
couldn't cut, scar, break or bend it couldn't dent it with an ax
inside it were these I-beams with some real strange encryptions
just like hieroglyphics or stuff written by Egyptians

Flyin' saucers been reported all across the 48
but who thought they'd hit the ground like a crumpled license plate
when the Army realized just exactly what they found
they packed it up on great big trucks an' quarantined the ground

So they sent it to Wright Patterson the Air Force base of choice
a little while later an' our gov'ment changed it's voice
where the Army's press release first said a Flying Disc had crashed
now it's just a weather balloon that ended up all smashed

Whole thing sorta blew over 'til a few short decades later
story got to int'rest UFO investigators
witnesses came forward swearin' aliens arrived
on that distant summer night they said some died an' some survived

Flyin' saucers been reported all across the 48
but who thought they'd hit the ground like a crumpled license plate
folks swore they must be Martians who had come here to invade
but they're only crash test dummies so the Air Force thus explained

crash test dummies crash test dummies crash test dummies crash test dummies

It was rumored they had big heads an' four fingers on each hand
kinda looked more like a child than they did a grown-up man
the locals they'd been threatened not to ever say a word
scared that they'd be ridiculed an' made to look absurd

Despite the passin' years gov'ment story's pretty rusty
hot air about balloons sent up to spy down on the Ruskies
throw in some crash test dummies to explain the alien guys
they must be the only ones still believin' their own lies

Flyin' saucers been reported all across the 48
but who thought they'd hit the ground like a crumpled license plate
our gov'ment reassures us nothin's happenin' secretly
so my friends no more loose ends is everybody happy

crash test dummies crash test dummies crash test dummies crash test dummies

they must think we're only crash test dummies dum-dum dum-mies

Thanks in advance!

Michael, you sure know how to write music. Good job! It just is a petty that there isn't a drummer and bassist to complete the triptych.

I am also passionate about music. I will in the future be creating my own tunes using the computer software like Reason, Cubase, etc.

I am not sure if this is common knowledge, but there is a very well known British alternative music group called Radiohead who have used sounds from the beamship sound recordings in their songs. One of the songs is called "Pyramid Song" and the music video blew me away when I first saw it way back in 2002 or 2003. Check it out, if you haven't seen or heard it before, because to me it is absolutely breathtaking. The beamship sounds are particularly audible at the end when the lights are dancing in the sky above the ocean. It is interesting to note that the musicvideo was based on a dream that lead singer Thom Yorke once had...

I have heard the beamship sounds in several recent movies , short bits of it as mood background , usually during pensive and mysterious moments .

Thanks for that link.I have used the recording in a song , with permission from Billy . Christian Frehner told me that this was possible because they know me . Of course you know about it , Michael , but right at this time the subject is right in the front of my attention , and I felt like sharing it .

Hi Michael....

Love your Roswell Amazon tune!

Would sound much more fun with a bass drum and a trombone in it!? :-)

Excellent, sing-a-long.....

Roswell Anthem....

Edward.

Could this be a case of Plejaren influence on comic book art. It was written by Stan Lee & drawn by Jack Kirby & Bob Powell in a 1965 issue of Tales to Astonish #73. I first ever heard of traveling at the speed of though by Billy.

Hi Norm,

If it was, then what would be the reason why the Plejaren would target their influence on kids for?

So when they grow up they may think of the this idea that was planted in the comics etc. May be then research in that direction. We know the Ps seed this stuff in certain writers, artists & scientists etc.

I'm aware that the P's influenced writers and produces of films like Star Trek, Star Wars, ect, but imo I don't think they would send their influence down to kids comic strips but thats my opinion.

Hi Norm....

Long time no hear!

Good example.

Something else....

For me it was The Time Machine. Was about 9-10 years old.

THAT film, got me THINKING....at that young age....:-)

So, it can....influence a young child.

I forget to put this last post about this songwriter!...
These 2 musics from silvio have a very deep poetical and philosophical mixture.

This almost make me cry...
