Hugo,

The study, fathoming and then recognition of the laws & recommendations of the creation, in other words, the teaching of the prophets in the Goblet of the Truth will align you with the Law of the Provision.

I commend you on your courage and I thank you for the kind words.
Salome,
Eddie

In the *Goblet of the Truth* there it says:
Live always in love and in peace, foster freedom and harmony on Earth and never forget the real truth. Foster your life always in goodness of heart and live in the true BEING of the Creation. The *Goblet of the Truth* will wake you, not to the bane - but to the boon. (pg.3)

Eddieamartin,

Thank you for making me get the GOT book! Reading your constant informative references to it made me get it sooner then I was expecting to because I still haven't finished reading "The might of thoughts" and "The Pyshce" books.

I got the GOT delivered two days ago and been reading it for about 6 hours so far. I already think it is Billy's best book by far! Now I am beginning to realize why you held that book above all others!

Thanks again! And especially to BEAM! :-)

I feel the need to post this WARNING

to everyone on social media such as Facebook

With admirable good intentions.

I continue to see many post from the spiritual teaching with enthusiasm and good intentions.

These beautiful individuals do not realize the harm they are doing.

They don't perceive the vexation they cause towards the spiritual teaching, the disdain towards themselves by family or friends that ignore them, nor do they perceive the ridicule or the lack of logic of their presentation which causes people to conclude Billy to be a moron or ignoramus and loose respect.

At his time in the New Millenium, it is dangerous and harmful to not heed the following creational recommendation in Goblet Of The Truth chapter 9 verses 46 and 47

46) And if you are not equipped with good knowledge in the teaching of the truth, the teaching of the spirit, the teaching of the life, then do not decide to go out in order to spread the truth-teaching, rather be averse to such because without sufficient knowledge you can do more harm than good (success), therefore you shall stay back (remain at home) with the other sedentary ones (ones remaining at home) if you are not sufficiently skillful (well-versed/well-read) in the teaching.

47) If you go out to spread the truth and you are not sufficiently skillful (well-versed/well-read), then you will increase the worries of those who are to be taught, and also your own worries, because it is through your insufficient knowledge in the truth that you will run backwards and forwards without finding any stability, which gives rise to discord between you and the ones to be taught because some will listen to you and some will be against you if you cannot explain the things of the truth to a sufficient extent (insufficiently), therefore leading to doubt and misunderstandings as well as outrage (acts of Gewalt 1).
Salome,
Eddie

As much as I respect Billy and the spiritual teaching he has been trying to spread across the world, and as much as the quote above from the Goblet of Truth makes logical sense to me, it is to a certain degree saying to keep your opinions to yourself. These days I've learned to listen and to keep silent (not all the time) regarding my opinions and thoughts, my understanding and knowledge, as attempting to argue my case with others of different opinions can be frustrating. But back in my twenties I was an opinionated and idealistic young man who wanted to argue with people and debate things. I literally directed conversations towards deeper and more meaningful subjects. There was nothing and no one that was going to tell me to keep it to myself. The running backwards and forwards, and the discord I created between myself and others, helped me understand myself better.

I think there is wisdom in the quote above, but if one is open a lot can be gained from doing exactly what it suggests you don't do. I would never listen to that. Even now my opinion is "So what!" People are who they are and we learn our own way. I am a believer in the constructive power of an argument (whether one is sufficiently knowledgeable or not), in order coming from chaos, in truth coming from lies, but one has to be open and be able to reason for anything positive to come from it.

I think it is all very well trying to be noble, but I'd rather be human, faults and all.

Dear Eddie, this may seem a bit forward of me and please let it not be misread but.. I love and admire you dear brother and couldn't agree with you more that these are very important passages from the Goblet of Truth that you quote which I deem very important for myself to heed.
I don't want this reply to sound like I am making excuses for myself as to why I do post things and in the light of the concept of "taking responsibility" that it must be remembered that every letter we type or button we click , we must take personal responsibility for it and so it is also going against creational laws to act in an irresponsible manner towards ourselves and or others... , therefore we must think in many directions and in an appropriately neutral positive wise which includes relaxed, loving and peaceful manner as well as in a way or manner that provides for our own protection and foresee any and all consequences that may result from our postings! This is why I try and keep mine to peace, and the environmental warnings, because religion and politics are just too polarising but I will not refrain from mentioning Billy's name or his photo or the odd thing that I see from any figu friends on FB. :-) But I am also going to make a concerted effort to post more of my own experiences here on this forum as I do feel they will be more appreciated here than on FB even though I risk making a spectacle of myself in the way of opening oneself up to criticism ... lol. And so this is why I am so very glad that you bring this topic up because it gives me a way to begin introducing myself.
I have also found passages in the goblet of truth that slightly loosen this grip the grip of silence over me but , firstly from my side is that I have tried to keep quiet and just live in the rules of this world and then end up becoming so submissive to the many oppressive beliefs that govern the entire society in which I find myself in, that I end up only but hurting myself as a result of trying to keep the secrets of creation all to myself.... Society beliefs and ideas which rob us of the knowledge of our spirit... When I realised that no harm could come to me when I freely share small seeds of truthly truth on FB , that relaxed feeling came over me that sets the scene for a healthy psyche in which my thoughts and feelings can flow in the creational sense and I can experience greater levels of happiness in my life .. Believe me I've worked pretty hard to achieve this level of being before I came to know of the teaching. Even though at this point in time my knowledge is on a rocky foundation and thus I also I know how fragile it is too, especially in this overpopulated chaotic environment we find ourselves in today where the pendulum is still swinging in the opposite direction of true peace. It can get a bit nerve wracking and impatience and desperation can creep in, yet I have found that, that negativity can easily be countered with greater efforts to follow creational recommendations in even more detail and share this with others .. The need to share with others creeps in when one feels like the next big thing can surely only be accomplished when more people are going in the same direction .. and joyfully that's why I have realised that that's why I need social media and all you beautiful people reading in.. :-) and need to learn to trust so that I can write more to the appropriate ears on this site!
To say there are not huge gaps in my "knowledge" would be incorrect and this is why I feel the need to begin sharing more people who I can interact safely with.. on this forum rather now perhaps, because It is essential to share in order to get the feedback..
I am very aware of not creating sects etc.. and simply because of that important principle, I would never embark on any action that could cause that or hope that I would have the ability to simply refrain from actions that would lead to such an atrocity.. But for me to mention Billys name FB is an absolute honour and an even bigger one when I see it come from a friend form a friend ... sometimes this weakens the post but sometimes it strengthens it. The May meeting is going on now so I wonder how long it will take to see a pic of Billy on social media after that...
Regarding the negative consequences that may arise from people who are confronted with truth's that they are not ready for , these too are things which I would prefer to avoid, by always inspecting my intentions whenever I post anything on social media, my intention is to create peace in my own life so that I can begin to resonate with others in a peaceful and loving manner and its working!!
For instance I have no problem posting about overpopulation even though I work very closely with a midwife birthing unit where in a capitalist environment I would be shunned for "talking down their business opportunity" ... I am in no way conflicted about that because I feel strong in the knowledge that we have to prepare ourselves to begin curbing the overpopulation in the most humane and free will following way possible , lest we suffer the consequences of not doing so. Yet when I work with a mother about to give birth I don't hold any blame of ill feelings towards her for making the choice of procreation, it's that simple for me.
Are we not bordering on forum rules by mixing / mentioning other platforms ? even though the admins are letting it through I guess this is the appropriate time and place to discuss this, as it is quite important for me to get gist of the two platforms separated in my own mind before I carry on, so that this can be the last time that I mention it.
I do feel the need to get my background info out there so that I can feel more comfortable writing on this site..depending on the feedback I get, meaning I am a real person not just a page on a screen. Bearing in mind that we personally don't know or rather can't be absolutely sure of who is reading our stuff, especially in the light of those you mentioned , yet I still remain calm in the creational law that no harm can come to me if I stay within the ambit of my own personal responsibilities. Even though I will probably be posting less on that other forum from now on and more on this one because it falls under the ambit of sharing with others in a fertile environment and creating a global community of like minded people..
I did still want to give an example from the goblet of truth and in my impatience can't find the previously read simple and strong ones, so I don't just want to copy and paste something out of context... as well as to keep my answer to your post nice and sweet and simple. :-)

No, really, get a dictionary and look up the definition (the formal statement of the meaning or significance of a word, phrase, idiom, etc., as found in dictionaries.) of this word and reread the quote you say that makes logical sense to you and what you have written... "I think there is wisdom in the quote above, but if one is open a lot can be gained from doing exactly what it suggests you don't do."

You have the right (free will) to determine for yourself what you do or do not do.

You said; "I think there is wisdom in the quote above".

Based on your comments, it appears you failed to understand those texts.

I would prefer to learn from a knowledgeable teacher than a teacher who is unqualified in the subject matter... which is what these texts are saying.

But these texts refer to something far greater than your comments refer to. Being argumentative, chaotic and a liar (truth from lies?) or to argue with people, trying to make order from chaos and attempting to find a truth in lies??? ...well, good luck with that.

I would rather be noble and human with faults and all ...than to simply be human with faults and all. But then that is our free will and choosing for ourselves.

I know what you mean Justine, at least basically I think so.

Eddie's post is right though, I found that out myself the hard way.

I post on Quora a lot when I'm not at work. I post things about the truth, or whatever, because people ask direct questions and some indirect ones.

Whenever I posted something that seemed perfect to me at the time, because I worked so hard to make it clear, later on I reflected and recognised some missing element, and it was like a moment of terror, thinking about the line of reasoning that I set somebody onto - who might end up way more confused.

I still carry those worries in the back of my mind today and I honestly don't know if I'll ever get rid of them permanently. Although I figured that the world is actually so full of terrible things, that sometimes it's OK to give people a bad scare, since anyway the children and women who get tortured deal with that daily. So I'm not that afraid to frighten people, since imo they should be scared sometimes. So I feel OK, maybe I have forgiven myself already.

But about the actual spirit teaching, I just try to post something if I am certain in my knowledge, or I just post Billy's words if it's possible. Then I just feel better and safer.

I don't think it's bad to post some things, but like ... well, I can't think of any example from my past right now, but some things shouldn't be explained as if they are an island. Some explanations need the rest of the spirit teaching, the whole thing, or else it could really be a problem for the people we are trying to help - I feel most certain of it.

But I think just talking vaguely and very generally about this or that is fine ... I do it at work, and so far no problems, although I figure I have to become a harder worker so I don't just get seen like a troublemaker who exists to be lazy and be a rabble rouser. I have to become a hard, industrious worker who is respected for that, then I hope people will listen more, because I won't just be a depressive, lazy philosopher which are a dime a dozen...

That was a great post and thanks for sharing. I would like to share with you an answer I got from Billy which sums up a great insight on how to effectively use the Meier material on social media as well as in conversations with friends and family.

Billy explained:
Everybody has to accept the thinking of each other, which includes religious thinking. This, however, shall not prevent oneself from making statements about the negativitiy of religions and sects, etc. However, this can be done in a neutral way and does not need a direct/personally addressed critique of another individual, at least as long as oneself is not directly attacked. Of course it is acceptable to correct or reply to a false accusation or attack.

Billy Meier

Let's break it down.

1) Everybody has to accept the thinking of each other, which includes religious thinking.
> There are specific reasons why people are religious, but what has to be considered is that it never the less is part of their evolution and we must remember that something develops in the brain that can be harmful and gravely agitative (threatening) to them and they react defensively, sometimes violently to any deemed attacks to their belief. These people also fear the wrath of God and his punishment if they act according to his assessment and displeasure of their thoughts and actions... especially if they do not stand up for their God.

2) This, however, shall not prevent oneself from making statements about the negativitiy of religions and sects, etc.
> As an example to this advice from Billy. In a christian-based post on facebook I commented the following, for which I received "Like" clicks by its participants;
The post said: "A Child Is Born To Win, But Too Many Have Been Conditioned To Lose"
To which I replied: "Well, in Christianity we are told we're born in sin.
We are told we are "not worthy".
The Catholic church says if a child dies before baptism the child goes to Hell.
Go figure."

3) However, this can be done in a neutral way and does not need a direct/personally addressed critique of another individual, at least as long as oneself is not directly attacked.
> So I kept my remarks specifically to the negativity and not in attacking anyone (especially the person posting or his beliefs).

4) Of course it is acceptable to correct or reply to a false accusation or attack.
> I was not "personally attacked" for the comment, but rather received "Like" clicks.
> perhaps it got people thinking about my irrefutable remarks and claims.

I personally feel that there is a need, and that the time is ripe, to effectively introduce principles, insights and the wisdom from the spiritual teaching to the masses. I also feel, which Billy confirmed in his answer to me, that it must be done effectively and based on creational recommnedations in order to bring about evolution of the consciousness.
Because one cannot teach a student who is irritated.

My experience with religious people has been this: When I share with them from the teaching of the spirit or from the teaching of the life ....they always resonate and are in agreement, they even chime in and we have a great discussion or conversation.

As Ptaah pointed out regarding the teaching of the truth; Ptaah stated that the teaching of the truth is very hard (harsh?) for the human beings of Earth. My experience has always shown that my religious acquaintances, family and friends get really bent out of shape, emotional, defensive and irritable when presented with the teaching of the truth. It is unbearable for their consciousness and they are unable to process which causes an immediate self denial, sudden defensive stance and some get argumentative and what I percieve as a fear of punishment from their God.

Better that we take the time to arduously study the Goblet Of The Truth and become versed in it, fathom what we learn and recognize it in our daily lives (practical life experience) and to eventually make its connection with our inner true selves, meaning our spiritform.

Things may appear daunting (overwhelmingly difficult), but with a little courage and trust in our ability to be able to grasp what we truly wish to understand, we will soon realize that the spiritual teaching is and always was identical to our true inner nature ...but this doesn't happen automatically and it does require the will (choice) and the initiating the first steps to begin setting time aside to simply read and fathom the texts.

By doing so we will empower ourselves and become effective teachers and admonishers, a delight to those we establish a fertile soil (receptive consciousness) and with whom we will enter into creative (productive) conversations and discussions.
Salome,
Eddie

No, I didn't fail to understand the quoted text in your post from the Goblet of Truth. It seems quite straight forward to me. I'm just making a deliberate stand against it, because I want to, because I can, because that's me. I don't need luck in learning what is true or false, just an open and inquisitive mind.

It just gets my guard up when people are told what to think and how to be. My natural stance is to stand against such an attitude.

I don't know, Eddie. I think you're being too timid.

Even Billy was hated by his family and his wife. And he is hated in his own land, by the Swiss people.

I think trying to teach above our capability is probably wrong, but if we say absolutely nothing, then we aren't continuing the work of the mission.

As I am aware, some ways that the Goblet explains things is written for a planet that is in better order, and sometimes deals with life when the world is more under control. I don't think that means live in disregard for the verses, but accept their wisdom into ourselves, and be guided by it in our admonishment.

If we don't make mistakes though, then we are not evolving and we will just be following it like a timid person. But if we read the verse and make a mistake, our leading thought can teach us, and then we will become knowing.

The thing is, though, that the world is already suffering and so are many people, although they are not aware of it. So this is not like Jmmanuel's time where people led so-so lives and didn't have a lot of worries. This is the year 2017, and everybody's face except for a few well-off folks shows extreme worry and disfiguration from worry lines.

So it is not like their worry can even really be that much more increased at this time.

I think there is nothing wrong with trying to share/teach others by using quotes directly from Billy's books. It's the people that put Billy's teachings into their own interpretations/words that leads to misunderstandings and distortions, sometimes deliberate.

Goblet of Truth is the best!! :-)

I find that generally educated people are not religious as they find it hard to believe the principle of a God.Also if people lack confidence in themselves they cling to something or somebody.

Also Andrew, your post is so unhelpful I actually think it is ridiculous. Can you at least try to be serious and at least try to understand the meaning of others words instead of pick their post apart like a dork.

This is not German, and it is not a logical language. Imo, this is not the time to be a nerd about language, because English is so bad anyway. Since mostly you don't speak German, imho we have to actually try to read between the lines and not just read the surface, but try to understand what basic idea the other person was trying to convey.

FFS, if that single thing were done, our forums would be so much better off.

Eddieamartin,

It was never my intention to be antagonistic on this forum. I started out with a genuine interest in the Billy Meier mission. I am still interested, which is why I still hang around here, but admittedly I don't take it as seriously as many here do, not because I'm not convinced by any of it, but because I don't want to take it seriously. That's my choice. Who cares!

It is only recently that I have felt this way towards members on this forum. There's a lot of sanctimonious know-it-all verbalism, whether intended or not. The fact is, the imparting of information on this forum does not reflect Billy's attitude (he would do it differently) and I believe the way information is imparted on this forum actually harm's the mission.

Votan,

You asked; "What on earth are you on about, I have no problems with Joseph."

Perhaps you missed it.

Joseph_emmanuel said; "I'm just making a deliberate stand against it, because I want to, because I can, because that's me."

Why would anyone wish to continue dialog with anyone with that attitude and that admitted this?

Would you?
