Hello all, I noticed in the comments here various requests over some time by individuals of many nations to connect with their fellow nationals. I think the truth is often that we like the idea of this but are not interested in the reality of it. There is nothing in the FIGU rules and guidelines restricting free will in the privacy of your own time on public land, if you have emailed your national FIGU interest group and they didn't email back several times for whatever reason they may not wish to disclose rudely, yet carried on their various activities as if neglecting your presence and existence, then make your own way, meet privately with individuals, message them, search facebook, get a conversation going with who ever you find and are comfortable with their company. If the leader of your national FIGU interest group is insufficiently social, lacking the motivation, various prejudices, ignores emails, sneers their nose at friendly invitation etc, then there will be an opportunity there for you to, with work, assume the role of leader through democracy in time. There can only be one national interest group per nation, and so any individuals thinking they may hog the glory of the honour of hosting it may have to adapt to the company of others who are interested or else we together face the risk of loosing the cohesion altogether. Therefore it is only possible to host a national interest group if the individuals are natives of those lands, born in the hospital, received the education there, and are social individuals. They have to be the strongest men and women theoretically but I leave that to you to decipher as to why. There are for example known-knowns where occasionally individuals will be given power lets call it, responsibility, such as a moderator, admin etc, and abuse these privileges through a special power-complex, because it tickles their fancy to feel special and in-charge, charged and are not familiar with social interaction between many different styles of individual applicable to the world, perhaps only one class of individual or of one size fits all education level, non-inclusive. However this is wrong, we require social individuals to assume these roles who are going to treat all individuals fairly and weigh everything up dispassionately. It is true that Christian Frehner treats individuals fairly. | ||

Regarding connecting with like-minded people, I know that there are a number of study groups in the US that aren't official FIGU groups and that welcome people to participate, join, etc. We have one here in Arizona and people have also come to participate from: Ohio, Illinois, Connecticut, Minnesota, Colorado, New Mexico, California, Texas, Oregon, etc. | ||

This is incorrect. From my understanding there are several levels of individual involvement one can pursue in their participation in the FIGU-Mission in their own country. First of all per FIGU directives any FIGU mission-based collaboration across country/national borders is discouraged by FIGU See: https://creationaltruth.org/Library/ReferenceMaterial/FIGU-Directives.aspx UNOFFICIAL Pro-FIGU GROUPS (highly encouraged by FIGU): unofficial study groups - (unlimited number permitted) 2 or more individuals who meet to discuss FIGU related topics ex: Munds Park Study group Interest Groups for the FIGU Mission (Interessengruppen für die FIGU-Mission) (unlimited number permitted per country) 2 or more individuals who meet to discuss FIGU related topics where 2 members are active FIGU Passive members and the group has been approved by FIGU to use the name "[location] Interessengruppen für die FIGU-Mission". They also agree to provide periodic progress updates to FIGU. ex: California Interest Group for the FIGU Mission - http://www.californiaforfigu.org/ Colorado Interest group for the FIGU Mission - http://www.coloradoforfigu.org/ Ohio Interest Group for the FIGU Mission - http://figuohio.org/ United States Online Interest Group for the FIGU Mission - https://www.creationaltruth.org Southern England Interest Group for the FIGU Mission - http://southernenglandforfigu.org/ These unofficial groups are supposed to follow FIGU recommendations and many set their own rules for membership. ex: United States Online Interest Group for the FIGU Mission only accepts US FIGU Passive Members as members of their group. Hello Aimee, this has been beautifully put together, looking forward to reading something written about it in the up coming newsletter, feedback specifically as its the first in the UK and in the home of English speaking higher education of all places. My interest was expressed to some form of involvement with the southerenglandforfigu group well over a year ago with Stephen Moore, who I understand has since that time taken a step back, an assumption based on no further correspondence. I would therefore like to again express my interest to you here in public on the forum and as a marker, that an event like this in Cambridge or a meet up would still be of interest to me, requiring an absolute confirmation of arrangements. It making sense for me to be involved in some capacity, given that very long period of study engaged by me, and FIGU Switzerland, meeting me there probably giving a thumbs up to my participation in some way or another, having not heard otherwise, even if in some lesser way, my somewhat silent smiling presence there only as a quiet (not foaming at the mouth) supporting individual. I would be more than happy to deliver short answers to questions to the general public, active participation in an independent capacity if questioned in the right way and would enjoy I think finding more out about any interest the general public has in it all given what the time is now, probably little or none but would be interested if it were somehow perceived as more available to them. However what I would not be so interested in is something like a closet presentation hidden down a back alley where no one can see it with no prior advertising and marketing over social media. I am saying I will stand with you, but only if I can stand confidently and strongly with you and quietly in this way, meaningfully, right in the middle of the high street, where the religious folk usually stand to deliver their leaflets, preferably silently next to their pitch if we can be neutral and brave enough to work as a team to be able to do that confidently. As bravely as the catholics do it, but without saying anything loudly or waving anyone down. I would like to attend a stall such as this one every 3 months for the next 4 years on a Saturday mid day for 5 hours inc lunch and coffee in a different old market town no cities each time, such that we explore the entire nation, to a publicly available schedule, similar to a bands music tour in terms of planning with a nice format, if that is ok with you, this is the scheme "I" would like to roll out and fit into and you to fit into, democratically speaking, if that would be ok, existing together, let me know if this would fit into and be alright with your plans. I feel this is the only way to develop an orbit which will suck, pull, push and make a fuss, the website and social media will have to be updated regularly, once a week, and given plenty of time in advance of each town. However I would go much further than this given my own way, I am not as familiar with the rules and customs as perhaps you are and again the whole thing must take a democratic form while at the same time follow a way forward which sits comfortably. I recommend we draw up a plan such as this and then allow FIGU Switzerland peruse the plan in all its detail. We have the local police constabulary on speed-dial each time and just enjoy the day, its all in native-English so very palatable schedule. Catch a train or bus Saturday or Sunday morning, see you there, this would be good, I look forward to you extending, breaking my arm off, shaking and snapping my wrist at the offer. Salome. | ||

Hello everyone, First wanna thank Scott for accepting my account application. I`ve been a learner from China mainland since 05/2015. There are many Billy fans here, but unfortunately we don't have so many resourses like you guys do. Language is one of the biggest reason, also the condition of country being included. For that, even though many translations in chinese of CONTACT REPORT were made here, we still can't catch up your steps... By the way, the main source we learn about Billy case and contact report was: http://www.futureofmankind.co.uk, but now the website can't be vistited anymore, maybe just temporary. So...our learning resources are three-handed (German - English - Chinese). A question in my heart for a long time: with no disrespect, does FIGU has any error correct project for translations of old version(official&unofficail)? Actually we are so looking forward to have a STANDARD material, so we can translate them into more accurate chinese version. Of course that is a huge project, but we do count on Billy and FIGU.
