Thanks you everyone for have been patient.
I'll see you all later on.

Isabella,

I (Scott) discussed your idea with the other moderators in regards to teaching German.

Learning another language is a long time consuming practice, which takes lots of repetition and requires more than just reading words posted on a page. Audio lessons should go hand in hand, so a person can get the feel and tonal qualities of the language. It also helps to have someone you know who speaks the language and can be supportive in your quest.

The intent of this section was not meant to provide a platform to teach German, but recommendations from those studying and learning the language. This would include books, dictionaries and various teaching aids. There are a number of free internet sites already established which provide tools for those attempting to learn. It cost money to keep this site up and running, and it seems counterproductive to provide this service when as I mentioned before there are websites already available.

When you post on this website you open yourself up to inquiries etc. I understand the intent of what you want to do, but FIGU can not be responsible for any language instruction you may want to offer. You have to ask yourself are you qualified to present a foreign language program to people from around the world? It would seem a more constructive use of your time to establish your own website, and offer instructions in a way that you see fit.

Thank you for listening

Scott,
thanks,
to tell you the truth teaching by just posting german is hard and i was thinking about the audio thing. and i was thinking about suggesting sites where people interesting in learning german can learn. I know what you mean. I did kind of got carried away, because the topic>learning german, is a topic to talk about leaning german itself and learning german is very difficult.

You know there was this guy Tony, a FIGU member in Austria who began teaching me German on-line, but of course that did not go very far when I soon lost sound on my computer among other things,

Peace in being,

Hello Hector.

Thanks for the welcome. I gree with you regarding to live in spiritual way, for i am in this path, been here for a while. and for the people to come in light of this, but right now it is important to try to get the people to take stand and take control, Bush has two more years to go,and alto he can not get re-elected by that time he might have stirr too much conflict around the world, wich will lead to war..see with-out the insane leaders and all the distracting kaos,it should be more easy to bring the truth about creation to the people...bush dont care about what hapens after he gets out..that is why it is imperitive to inform and encourage the people to take action. iThe best aproach to it is as Billy mention true the legal sytem in an unviolent way, but we all the on the us have to exersice this right..all of uss...more than half of the population in the us is ready to due something..here most talk about it and even on tv you can see it..I hope you understand the motive is to prevent future conflicts.

best Regards

Benjamin-

I have been practicing German since about April 2006, and I bought a few items to help me learn german. I tried movies, and I picked up a little it from that, and then I tried this Audio tape set to learn german from english, it did not work to great.

Then I bought a German video game. It was a adventure game with voice acting included, where the words in german would appear at the bottom of the screen while they talked. And the people in the villages would give you chores, or missions, where they would want you to do something for them.

I found this game to be incredibly tough at first because the people in the village would ask me to do something, and I was not quite sure what they were asking me to do all the time, but if I did something wrong their voices had different tones, and if I ended up doing something that was so off course they might attack me, or turn my character in to the guards who would then put me in a jail cell for a while.

After playing this game a month, I was able to pick up so much of the language that I could read my copy of the Talmud in German without having to translate every single word, and maybe only having to translate 1 or 2 words per sentence. I have now gotten to the point where I can read it fairly well without a problem, only looking up words everynow and then, especially when it is an old saying which I do not understand, but I still have a problem trying to speak it, it is like I can not think of the words fast enough to say a sentence spontaneously.

Does anyone have any suggestions of how one could practice speaking german spontaneously in response to a question or just saying whats on your mind in a different language?

It is a Fairly new game called "Oblivion" from the elder scrolls series, they have it in english, but I imported a German copy to the US because it sounded like a cool way to learn.

This might seem like a strange question, but do the Plejarens have video games? And if they do, do they have violence in them, or are they strictly learning type games?

With regards to Oblivion, it involves missions where killing enemies and stealing objects for people is common, which is not really teaching anyone morals so to speak, but what is a video game without a good and an evil force at work?

1)I would advice to download spoken german movies subtitled in English.Try to figure out what the hell they are talking about.

2)Pay attention to the word order.(Subject-Verb-Action)Verbs are usually placed in the end of the sentence.

3)Always learn vocabulary,new words.

4)Practice spoken German, wether alone or not.

I noticed word order is key when playing video games. It was easy to noticed verbs being at the ends of the sentences in German Video games, I also noticed that Capitalized words carried different meanings.

I'm not sure how to practice spoken german alone though.

Hi All....

For those whom have interest.

Below is a copy of a/the original - Declaration of Independence - IN GERMAN,
way before it was translated and published into English! If it were up to
Benjamin Franklin: the United States..in his days up till now...would have
been a GERMAN speaking country! But...Alas! The overruling English Power
Structure at the time declined any kind of alteration, what so ever.

If this would have been the case, perhaps it would have been less
complicated (today) for those to Understand and to Grasp... The Teachings
Billy has brought before us all, and that America would have taken a much
more Balanced Course in her destiny!?

Edward.

After practing german awhile I have come to realize what Billy actually means when he says english is primitive. English leaves so much room for interpretation. That have words for different types of feelings in a word, or that is the best way i can put it, it is hard to explain without the words.
Its just a wissens you have and not a kenntbar thing.

Does anyone have any ideas on how we can fix this problem with english being more primitive. It would be nice if everyone learned German, but it seems like German is a dying language, how can we reverse this process. Other then learning the language, how can we get others to learn it, or get them to want to use it. Most people do not use it in there daily lives, but how could we incorporate it into them?

Hy Psycloud i noticed that you post in the German forum too...Herr Lanzendorfer is a very nice guy, well, all the moderators are,and their knowledge of the Billy Meier work is admirable.

I`ve asked some questions to them and always received useful answers.

I am spanish but can express myself in English and German, and yes,for me german is more accurate then english, german leaves no space,no opportunity for second meaning/second interpretation. It is easier for me to express the exact concept.

If the language is not that accurate, then you have to use metaphors, examples, additional sentences to fix possible misinterpretations.

What is very important is the concepts.Concepts like Spirit,Plejaren,Creation,Consciousness,Reincarnation,Gene,Beyond,Akashic Records..etc..Those concepts in theory don`t need any additional explanation.Everybody plays safe there. Those concepts are the skeleton around which you have to build the body of the information you want to share.

Once everybody understands and shares the same views concerning those concepts,it is much easier because there are different languages but same ideas, abstract concepts. When anybody says "Terra" almost everybody knows were talking about the earth. With the spirit lessons its the same.

Definitions and important concepts have to be mastered.

Example. When Jesus /Jmannuel "went to heaven",he was just being tele-transported into a beamship. If those 1st century guys(the disciples) had mastered the term and concept " Beaming",they would have not used the expression "went to heaven",with such negative consequences. They had no knowledge at that time,to understand the concept of "Beaming".Today, any single sentence from Billy is understandable, technically and spiritually.

So,summing up:English can be a poorer language as can be spanish too.Solution:Fix the possible misinterpretations.

That`s the reason why sometimes Billy`s answers fall short with a simple "yes","no", or " i dont know".It has to do with being accurate.

I do post in the German Forum every now and then, but it takes me forever to read it because I get so confused, I only started learning German about 6 months ago, and to the extend I can read it now, I can already find a few concepts that we in english do not have at all. I'm sure there are more concepts that German has that English does not have, if Billy is right, I'm just at the tip of the iceburg.

If he is right, then it would be a shame to let this language die.

By the way, what language did the disciples speak, and is that language considered an accurate language today?
