Thanks for sharing that Eddie, from my heart I'm saying that. I actually been stopping myself more and more from posting recklessly, and it always, always made me lose sleep and run back and forth to my computer, deleting and changing posts ... that recommendation is so an accurate depiction of how my recent life has gone it's uncanny. It stopped me from another post tonight, and because of that, I will actually get to go into the lesson itself, and grow ... instead of having an inspiration and advising somebody like I am an expert before I even had tested the inspiration myself to turn it into wisdom.. Now I will actually get to approach the lesson, and go into it to experience it fully, instead of just hearing it call to me and then frantically and crazily writing it down as if I were an expert already, when I haven't even actually gone into the lesson yet..

I really just feel some kind of shame that I distrusted you, and actually on such a dumb grounds.. because you were not white and I was still believing the nonsense that only white humans and specifically germanic white humans.. can really be real part of the "spiritual teaching people".

But you asked Billy that important question, and brought it here for us, so it has been me who was so racist and dumb. Now I see you are genuine, so.. accept my apology?

Carolyn

First one is easy to do as one can control.

Second is not so easy as there are a lot of selfish people around that only care about themselves and the wealth they own.

I try to obey both ,but I stay clear of people that do harm to me.

I think you misunderstood his statement.

I interpret that we are all different( thank goodness for that) and we think differently.

That you cannot take away. We are not robots or brainwashed yet.

Carolyn, be careful not to confuse the Spiritual Teaching with religious jingles and bible language and/or dialogue terms, etc....such as "heaven", "golden rules" "unto"

Tyler, We all have lots to learn. It appears, You have been a "victim" of ignorance, prejudice, misinformation, however, as long as you're genuine, I'm sure Eddie will forgive You. In the beginning, BEAM and the P's, reached out to the white population, Only because they represent the majority(volume) of people on this planet....meaning, there are more Whites on this planet. BEAM assumed, the "White population" would logically support all other "minority people" on this planet, however, As you may have discovered, that has not been the case.

To Tyler, perhaps you have me confused with someone else. But if indeed such was the case, then rest assured that I simply deleted you out of my mind and consciousness as if you never existed. So there would be no need to apologize. We all make mistakes and (hopefully) grow out of (evolve) beyond our former selves. Good for you and I look forward to recognizing your learning and cognizances and how your life is taken into the boon (benefited) from the spiritual teaching.

To this FIGU forum. There are these verses from chapter 2 of the Goblet Of The Truth that I feel compelled to share with the forum; it is regarding certain personalities that come to this forum and make attempts to pass themselves off as students of the spiritual teaching.

To myself, I have coined these people as the Cliff Notes type who do a lousy job (comical actually) of trying to be convincing, attempting to pass themselves off by obviously cherry picking words and phrases from forum posts, or other sources, in order to appear as though they are studying the spiritual teaching... only to make fools of themselves.

In chapter 2 it says the following about those people amongst us here (and in life) which we (who actually study) do easily recognize.

In verses 4 through 10 they are quite well summed up and for which reason I mostly ignore the ignoramus.

4) Those amongst you who are not knowing – it makes no difference to them whether they are warned or are not warned –, they do not want to be knowing.

5) All their senses are sealed, their intellect and their rationality, their hearts, their ears, and over their eyes there is a shroud, through which they do severe punishment to themselves.

6) And there are some amongst you who say that they are connected to the knowledge and the truth, but they are truthly not knowing ones.

7) They wish to deceive the proclaimers, the prophets, and those who are knowing; but they are only deceiving themselves; but their intellect is not sufficient to understand it.

8) There was disease in their reflecting and their disease has multiplied due to their wrong doing and their lies.

9) And if they are told that they shall not cause trouble on the earth-roundness, then they say untruthfully that
they are promoting peace.

10) And if they are told that they shall be knowing in the truth and not believing like fools, then they dissent, therefore protect yourselves from them, because they do not know that they are fools.

.
Salome,
Eddie

In the *Goblet of the Truth* there it says:
Live always in love and in peace, foster freedom and harmony on Earth and never forget the real truth. Foster your life always in goodness of heart and live in the true BEING of the Creation. The *Goblet of the Truth* will wake you, not to the bane - but to the boon. (pg.3)

I think I said this before but it bears repeating:

We are all victims of circumcision in one way or another, thus I choose not to point fingers for fear of what goes around comes around.

Thus I choose to live the word and walk the walk and talk the talk. But when in doubt I just shut up!

Msmichelle... well said! as well as eddiemartin!

First we have to get our own belief systems together before we first go out trying to change the world of all of it's evil woes.

Hope that makes sense to you all. Priority number one is get your own shit together!

I have read and re-read those verses many times, and they have given me a terrible wringing.

I could tell about my experiences, because today I was just so happy. I am making almost crying now.

But I'm afraid to share yet because I'm only 27 and my joy is very tiny like a little plant that easily can be stepped on, so I have to keep it private still until I'm older and my joy is sturdy and strong like an oak.

But I do feel confident enough to talk about my love and budding skill in herbalism, that I eventually found my way too after I had read a recommendation in the goblet of the truth.

I'm still testing things out, and learning from wise instructors, but in the future I want to give my knowledge to us, to the FIGU, to the FIGU friends, and we can grow together.

I'm just so glad, though, that even though I had used marijuana for about 3-4 years if memory is right, I have succeeded in forming my psyche and repairing it. It is so great a joy to have it again and to be able to be touched by poetry. Now I am making tears but they don't fall down yet my face.

Joseph, you just have to work really hard at a manual job. You just got to! It is a key for the whole thing!

Joseph_emmanuel,

You said you don't want to take the Meier material "seriously"...I'm confused as what you mean by that. Is this all simply entertainment for you? What do you hope to gain from participating here if anything? Just curious.

Historeed,

Reading some of the comments on this forum is entertainment for me, and so is engaging in a "to and fro" with some of the members here. I do enjoy a confrontation, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing, even if some of you don't see the point.

Nothing about the Billy Meier mission is entertainment for me. I find a lot of it disturbing and it causes me to become heavily depressed. But I can't help feeling drawn to it, so I keep coming back. I want to let go of it because it isn't helping me mentally. I don't know how to deal with it. The spiritual teaching, however, is another matter. I take it seriously, but not to the extent that I want it to dominate my thinking. I treat it no differently to how I treat books on a shelf: it's there to be referred to when I want to refer to it. That is my attitude to all knowledge, whether true or false. As someone who likes to read and write, I go wherever inspiration takes me. I don't care if it is in complete contradiction to the spiritual teaching. The spiritual teaching does not rule my life, and I don't ever want it to. Some people want to be guided, they need to adhere to a body of knowledge such as the spiritual teaching or any of the three monotheistic religions. This comes from a desire to follow, which usually results in idolatry. The world is filled to the brim with such people. It's like there isn't a single person with an original thought in his head or an original feeling in his heart. For all the understanding and knowledge expressed here, I do wonder how much of it comes from within you, as a result of experience. I'm willing to bet it's very little, so you will forgive me if I refuse to take you all so seriously and laugh at your self-praising. I gain better insight into the meaning of life and existence by interacting with a humble dog.

I don't hope to gain anything from anyone on this forum. It is precisely that attitude: the attitude that members here have something to offer by way of guidance and benefiting others that gets my goat. It is arrogant and self-delusional. The spiritual teaching should be imparted neutrally and in an unassuming way.

That said, some relevant information does get posted here occasionally. I just like to keep a lookout for it.

You could not be more wrong, Joseph, in how you have appraised the spirit teaching and the people who have benefited from it.

Also, there's nothing all that valuable in a confrontation, except that it gives those who have reached the shores of the truth a chance to help those who haven't yet recognised their own foolishness as they just sit on the opposite shore complaining about the other passengers around them when there's a boat to climb into (or build up in the first place) and a water to cross.

Are you certain that you know which side of that spar you are actually on?

Joseph_emmanuel,

Thanks for the honest response. I've followed this forum for years and have seen a lot of postings (I'm guilty of this as well) that are controversial, misleading, inappropriate, etc...but I think that is simply part of the learning process involved in discussing the Spiritual Teaching. Most of us here are searching for answers to questions we've had all our lives, so naturally personalities clash at times when preconceived notions are challenged, refuted or ignored. You said you felt drawn to the Meier material. I feel the same way and I'd venture a guess that most here do as well.

Joseph, I was exasperated in the German forum for the same reason! So I decided to see if the English forum was any better. Unfortunately, even though people love and adore Billy Meier, as rightly they should, that doesn't make them philosophers or intellectuals, it doesn't increase their ability to process information and etc and etc. One thing they are almost all lacking in is understanding for another point of view, or a person who is looking at the information presented with a few questions that need to be answered, rather than gulping it all down, hook-line-and-sinker.

Tyler,

There is no one here or in this world, with the exception of Billy, who has reached the "shores of truth" and so for an individual to think that he has is delusional. I understand what you are trying to say with your analogy, and I agree that we all strive for truth and betterment, some of us with greater effort than others, but until we get there who has the licence to pretend otherwise?

I don't agree that confrontation is useless. I use the word in the sense when two people differ in opinion as opposed to an negative, degenerative argument. Billy states that evolution is only possible through opposition. If we all agree with each other, and ignore or deny those with whom we disagree, what will we learn? Your learning will be useless to you until it is put to the test. I see very few people here who are willing to do that: again no different to a religious attitude. I have learned a lot through confrontation, not just with others, but also with myself. I have learned very little since I stopped. I need to get back into it. It's good for the spirit!

Carolyn, I'm with you all the way.

Hi Tyler and Joseph_e,

There are many truths and many people who have come to understand various truths, and also no one at all who has ever understood all truths. So that neither of you nor any other who wants to join your discussion suffers from talking at cross purposes it would therefore be better to define what you mean by "shores of truth."

Historeed

I found out about Billy from a brilliant Swiss scientist who used to deal with lasers.Unfortunately he had a bad accident when the tailgate of a mowing trailer fell on his head, next 2 days he was a paraplegic.

To this day he has a brilliant mind. His doctor who had a Volvo could not get a mechanic to fix it.He uses his wife after he diagnoses the problem to fix it. Yet he is no mechanic.Any electrical or mechanical work to be done around the house he instructs the wife thru a paper tape to fix it.

Joseph and others, remember You have Free will...as I've said, there are Plenty of other dicussion websites which may suit your Learning process..IMO,natural confrontations, agreements, arguments are a learning experience, however, attempts to create chaos for unreasonable reasons, are wasteful..IMO,this website provides "Guidance" , the "Answers" are within You based on Your circumstances

The art of debate, as practised by the ancient Greeks, was to never create a confrontation in which your opponent loses "face". To debate is like a pretend fight with rapiers. You never deal a deathly blow with words. You know when you've won the argument, but let your opponent leave thinking that he hasn't lost. Sadly, the art of debate has practically disappeared in modern times, and every disagreement tends toward a hostile confrontation and an ending when one or the other parties has to leave in disgrace.

You're wrong, Joseph.

I might not be as wise as Billy, but I'm learning and I'm working, and I'm growing. I work for my daily bread and I earn it. I've toiled hard in my life, and I'm not the only one.

So the fact that I worked hard for my daily bread is why I'm not even mad at you too much, but what you wrote about me is really insulting.

If you think that everyone is failure just because of the forum, why not think about the real human beings in Switzerland sometime, who have met the yeti or who have interesting adventures and live where the tiny dwarves used to reside?

Hey Tyler, I'm with you out on that lake or crossing that river. . . . nowhere I'd rather be! You are a very sensitive soul and a very deep thinker already for 27 years. You remind me very much where I was at 27 and going through some heavy personal and spiritual experiences at the time. In fact, my whole life came crashing down around my ears around that time (would be the year 1987 for me when I was 27) and much like the collapse of the Twin Towers, there was nothing much left of my former life when the combined spiritual and personal attacks on me ended (if indeed they ever did!). In any case, I had to rebuild my life stronger than before, or risk losing my mind. I resolved that my mind should be stronger than the forces or people who were attacking and personally injuring me, that I could and should rise above it. And so I did. I followed my own course in the next 30 years, and can say that I did overcome an enormous amount of trouble. Looking back at that trouble, I'm amazed that I survived it at all! Tyler, you are on the right track. . . and we really need good herbalists! Learn about herbs and learn how to use them to heal. Then with more knowledge and help from the spiritual teachings, you will become a great healer!

Also no I won't define it, because if you don't think it through, then you can't reach it. It's in a poem for a reason. Poems are your test, because if you do not work on your psyche and purify your consciousness, you will be unmoved by poetry. And if you remain unable to be moved or stirred by poetry, then you can't reach life in the truth.

You can't get to the truth through being a spiritual scientist. It's your heart that you have to teach and instruct, and your mental-block which is partly your consciousness and partly your psyche. That means your psyche has to be formed and repaired and maintained, and you have to go the way of a poet to the truth - at least somewhat taking a kind of music with you, instead of stomping your way through the whole mission in life as a cold, analytical scientist.

You cannot succeed if you just stay as analytical, so I can't define what it means for you, because it will not help you to have the poem defined, since then you will just analyse it and then you will lose because you will not be able to be enchanted by its mystery, but the Creation *is* the suspended mystery.
