Dear David!

Good one! :-D

A point very well made. Very droll!

Thanks for the laugh, if not the mental image.

Best,

Dyson,

I did hope that this would create a few laughs.

And that it wouldn't give some alien race with invasion plans any ideas... :-)

Thanks

Hi all:

Bill Gates on Overpopulation.

A speech well built, and well delivered.
Trying to keep it brief and concise.

Oops

I got it wrong (), Though Bill gates mentions the ideal population to be 2billion, he focuses on energy topic, rather than on the overpopulation factor.

Apologies.

Good presentation still I think.
He is popular enough to help drive some changes forward.
Trying to keep it brief and concise.

Btw Carlos, NO ONE writes their own speeches, they pay someone to do that for them. He may have presented it well, but those were not his words.
The Gates Foundation recently announced they are spending $10 billion on vaccinations. How many of those vaccinations are going to be used experimentaly on people?

In FIGU Bulletin 50, Billy answers a readers question and mentions that the earth storage banks revealed 128,713,911,000 reincarnating spirit form as of 18.04.2004 while the Plejaren gave the number 7,101,500,011 as the human population on earth as of 8.4.2004.

Isn't it like 128 billion seem too high for a planet like earth to sustain? We talk about global overpopulation. But what about planet bound spirit overpopulation. Is this a possibility too?

I was doing some rough calculations to determine the current reincarnation cycle time (for 128 billion spirits) given the current birth rate, but can't guarantee its reliability or correctness as some information might not be taken into account plus the fact that we know so much less. So here goes-

Assumption:
  • In an ideal scenario for earth, spiritforms spend 1.52 times their age in last incarnation in the spiritual realm of the fine matter world.
  • For the sake of simplicity lets consider, the person who dies first is incarnated first after completion of its 1.52 times age in the “beyond”. In other words, person if person A and person B, dies at the same age, but A in year 2000 and B in year 2004, then person A will be incarnated first ahead of person B.
  • All 128.7 billion spiritforms have "equal opportunity" to complete their evolution on earth without any preference or prejudice.
Data:
  • Average Crude birth rate: 19.95 births/1000 population (Source: CIA world fact book)
  • Human population on earth = about 7,500,000,000
  • Number of births per year= 19.95*7,500,000,000/1,000=149,625,000
  • Current life expectancy of earth human= 66.57 years
Calculations:
Considering the assumptions,
  • For 128.7 billion spiritforms on earth, time to complete one cycle of re-incarnation (birth, death, birth) for a spirit = 128,713,911,000 /149,625,000 = 860.24 years (approx)
  • Ideal time for each spirit form to spend on earth vis-à-vis “beyond” would be in 1:1.52 ratio, i.e. 341.36 years (life expectancy) and 518.88 years (beyond) respectively adding up to 860.24 years
  • For an average life expectancy of 66.57 years, the average time to complete one cycle of re-incarnation (birth, death, birth) = 66.57* (1+1.52) = 167.76 years

Inference:
If this ratio of 1:1.52 is to be maintained for 128 billion spirit forms, either,
  1. The birth rate has to increase to 149,625,000 * 860.24 / 167.76 = 767,247,317 births/year (illogical – we do not have natural resources to support such population), or
  2. Life expectancy has to increase to 341.33 years (unlikely), or
  3. Planet has to give evolutionary preference only to some spiritforms, precisely = 128,713,911,000 * 167.76 / 860.24 = 25,101,187,702 = 25 .1 billion approx (illogical)

Or else, given the status quo, the ratio has to be decreased to = 1.52 * 149,625,000 / 767,247,317 = .2964 i.e. 1:.3 approximately (a 86.31 year birth-death-birth cycle) = ridiculously low

The way I see it is that the 128 billion or so spiritforms provided by Creation for this planet are here as a safeguard number, to service the human population no matter how small or large and not provided so that each and every spiritform will have an equal turn so to speak.

The ultimate goal for Creation is for it to increase its power via its own evolution, and it needs to build that up via the spiritforms it has created to do that task. However, it is not a prerequisite that each and every spiritform that is created will reach 100% of its potential before Creation's cycle will end. Even if the SF has only reached 1% of its potential at that time, that would be a great contribution to Creations own striving. I dont think that any power will be unused.

Also, as the spiritforms available for reincarnation are of varying levels of 'power'/evolution, this creates a particular stratum which needs to be accommodated with the reincarnation process. Thus, there would only be a certain number of bodies and accompanying circumstances that would be appropriate/compatible for the further development of the various different evolutionary levels of each spiritform.

I can also see that many spiritforms 'waiting in the wings' for their chance to shine ( :-) ) may have to wait a long long time and some may even wait for what can appear to be forever. But that is not really an issue for the spiritforms themselves, as they don't think about this kind of thing. They are just there, with a particular power level, doing service to Creation, unconsciously in this instance, without degenerating their power levels if perchance they miss out on taking a turn.

It reminds me of the turtles that hatch out in certain places around the world, including here in Australia. For every 1000 little creatures that break out of their hidden sandy incubator, only 1 will grow to adulthood. Now, that might seem a shame, but it is a natural sacrifice that is made for the sake of the 1 that will make it.
Even with this ratio of 1:1000, the plight of the 999 that don't make it is not in vain, for in order for that '1' to survive this is what must occur. They have contributed to the final goal magnificently, without ego getting in the way. They all head for the water with equal gusto, not knowing their fate.

I can see that maybe that is the scenario going on here as well.

Peace in Wisdom be with you,

This is to inform you, that a political party centered on and dealing specifically with the issue of population has been created in Australia - where else?!:-)
It is called 'Stable Population Party of Australia', SPPA.

The convenor of the SPPA, Mr. Bourke, contacted us, The Circle For Humanity, with the following message:

"Subject: Stable Population Party of Australia - formation
From: William Bourke <stablepopulation@live.com.au>
Date: Fri, Mar 19, 2010 4:32 am
To: adam@thecircleforhumanity.net

Dear Interested Parties

You may be aware that Stable Population Party of Australia is being formed to tackle the critical issue of population.

You can find further information at www.populationparty.com, including policies and membership details for your consideration.
Without 500 members in the short term, we can't give voters a real choice.

Thanks and regards

William Bourke
Stable Population Party of Australia
www.populationparty.com"

The SPPA pursues the following:

A/ Key objectives
- To stabilise Australia's population at around 23 million until 2050.
- To provide leadership and support to other countries experiencing rapid population growth, so as to help them stabilise their populations, and thus help stabilise global population.

B/ Policies
- Adopt a formal national 'population policy' to stabilise Australia's population at around 23 million until 2050.
- Adopt a balanced and sustainable migration program, with annual immigration at around *50-80,000, being equivalent to total annual
emigration.
- Reject any selection of immigrants based on race.
- Maintain Australia's current refugee and humanitarian intake level, within the broader immigration quota.
- Abolish the Baby Bonus and re-direct funds to genuinely needy families and children.
- Tie foreign aid wherever possible to the improvement of governance and economic and environmental sustainability, with a particular focus on women's rights and on opportunities for couples to access family planning services.

(Note: the proposed immigration level is around the average per capita rate for major Western countries.)

I'm pleased to see how so many persons in Australia are thinking outside of the "more-people-is-better" box.

Namely, by the awareness shown on the comments to this story:

Peace in wisdom be with you,

Our good partner, Mr. Bill Ryerson, president of Population Media Center (PMC)/Population Institute - the latter being the initiator of the action 'Global Population Speak Out': http://gpso.wordpress.com/ - , has kindly shared with us the new, made for TV, Public Service Announcement of the PMC:

http://www.populationmedia.org/where/united_states/psa-campaign/

His message goes on saying, "When was the last time you saw a TV ad about unsustainable population growth - and what you could do to help?
PMC is excited to announce the release of our first ever public service announcement aimed at an American audience on the issue of population."

Mr. Ryerson and the PMC would appreciate any help with the dissemination of this short (32 seconds) video document.

Thank you,

Racial affiliations will largely cease to be important when pretty much everyone can birth an offspring of whatever race they like. In that circumstance our species collectively drifts towards producing the best offspring according to our collective values. Should those values be based in love, beauty and wisdom are the result, which will reflect itself upon our species genetic makeup. Additionally, such things as the overwhelming need to generate children at a time of overpopulation, or the predisposition to destructive levels of aggression, or even just general low vibes, may someday be genetically toned down.

Indeed, through the magic of genetic engineering, we may one day ourselves be able to largely change sexes, races, heights, weights, even types and numbers of appendages. Again, with love as our guide, our species evolves towards beauty and wisdom.
Love is always the way

Peace in wisdom be with you,

Thanks, indeed Smukhuti.

We would like to share a couple of updates on overpopulation and on some concrete/effective - id est, in the practice - developments in this field.

In case, some of us are not yet aware of it, the environmental conservationist of the first hour, so to speak, Ms. Jane Goodall of the Jane Goodall Institute, has added her influential voice to the plea for overpopulation awareness (courtesy of CFH member Stephen Moore):
Population growth should be curbed: conservationist Goodall
Wednesday, March 24

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/18/20100324/tuk-population-growth-should-be-curbed-c-a7ad41d.html

Briefly: "Humans should have fewer babies to help the global battle against climate change, according to the renowned British primatologist and conservationist Jane Goodall.
Goodall, whose 1960s research on chimpanzees changed perceptions of relations between humans and animals, fears the controversial issue has slipped down the agenda in the debate about man's impact on the environment.
"It's very frustrating as people don't want to address this topic," said the 75-year-old English scientist. "It's our population growth that underlies just about every single one of the problems that we've inflicted on the planet.
"If there were just a few of us then the nasty things we do wouldn't really matter and Mother Nature would take care of it -- but there are so many of us," she told AFP in an interview [...]"

CFH member Ramirez also shared with us a video presentation by Mr. Dick Smith, wherein this prominent endorser of the Stable Population Party of Australia, the SPPA, makes a sound, articulate, eloquent and pretty convincing case for overpopulation awareness, first in his own Australia, then worldwide, and advocates birth/population regulations.
The resemblance with the approach of Billy/FIGU is pretty remarkable: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ui27Zlf4iY

It is also worth indicating, that the SPPA has posted on the front page of its site, under 'Global Issue', the powerful video call for overpopulation awareness/birth control advocacy of Sir David Attenborough, provided by/in the presentation of another Australian CFH member, Marksmanr-Reece - including the correct peace symbol/logo of the CFH, hence leading directly to Billy/FIGU: http://www.populationparty.com/Home

Peace in Wisdom be with you,

Here is an update from our Australian friend, MP Thomson from Wills, who works closely with 'The Circle For Humanity' and the Population Institute' action 'Global Population Speak Out', GPSO.

It is about the "nomination to add human population growth in Australia as a threatening process under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999."

An important initiative indeed - the 'Aussies' are indeed taking the lead, as CFH member Marksmanr-Reece, who happens to be...Australian, so rightly (proudly!:-)) stressed it.

"Subject: ACF Nomination

Dear All,

I am attaching for your information the Australian Conservation Foundation nomination to add human population growth in Australia as a threatening process under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.

As the nomination points out, Population growth is the first driver in a complex chain of direct and indirect effects on Australias biodiversity. It underpins and exacerbates nearly every other threat to our ecological life support systems.

The Third Intergenerational Report, Australia to 2050: future challenges, projected that Australias population will reach 35.9 million by 2050. If this is allowed to happen it will have devastating effects on our ability to protect our unique wildlife and ecosystems.

I believe that if the nomination is successful it will enable us to be better equipped to deal with the environmental consequences of an escalating population in Australia.

Yours sincerely,

Kelvin Thomson MP

Member for Wills"

The official document-bid for nomination, which is too large to be attached here, could soon be consulted at the CFH site: www.thecircleforhumanity.net

( Am i right, Stephen Moore and Reece? )

A confirmation of reception shall be sent to the office of MP Thomson and this news added to the news page and at the overpopulation groups of the 'Care2' community, which are dedicated to the commendable efforts of the Stable Population Party of Australia, the SPPA, on this urgent issue,
- here: http://www.care2.com/news/member/512435220/1428389

and 'Population Growth Group': http://www.care2.com/c2c/groups/disc.html?gpp=1961&pst=1295528

Let's wish the best of success to our Australian co-workers.
