With the discussions I have had with various people with regards to overpopulation and climate change, they have more important things to worry about in there own minds. Most of the people that I have spoken to are aware that the U.K where I live is overpopulated but that is due to immigration. Our food comes from Supermarkets end of there is no thought with regards food production, our schools don’t teach environmental science at a basic level in fact the only information most people receive is through a television set, we have become desensitised to so many things it’s unbelievable . It’s the Cavalier attitude that it’s someone else’s problem which I try very hard not to worry about, not one politician in my own country will take the bull by the horns because this subject will be a vote looser for him/her. What is interesting is what would happen if people in the U.K actually knew how there food was grown and reared but unfortunately football is more important to them. Hi All.... Billy did once mention in the past of a German woman(forgot her name...), who started the first SEX Store (selling books, etc...), after WW2, which is also to blame for the worlds OVER sexed habits. After her, the Sex stores just popped up like mushrooms...all over the world! This, is of course, also a CAUSE of our today's Overpopulation. Kids, just being 'overexposed' with such literature, films, and what not; the internet is just an example, for quick access. The kids, and adults just have no control over themselves. And: one thing....leads to another... Consequence - Cause and Effect....Overpopulation...... Edward. | ||

Salome Corey I had a quick discussion recently with a women where I work and she agreed that there is a problem with the climate/atmosphere. She also agreed on my thinking that when the young ones grow up and inherit the problems us older ones have created, then they will say "if you knew about the problem, why did you not do anything about it". Regarding the future, I was told during my last visit to Switzerland that once the population goes beyond 10 billion, currently at 8.1 billion, then major turmoils on the earth will come into being. The politicians and other persons who are in positions to educate and make aware of the overpopulation problem and to bring in strict laws to deal with it are in fact relieving themselves of their responsibility. Perhaps they want more humans for more tax, voters, workers, more religious followers for them to take advantage of and so on. Also perhaps they want the polar ice caps to melt so they can get their hands on the wealth. If so then they are truly short sighted as they destroy their own future too as well as future generations, which they will also be part of as they will reincarnate back onto this planet and inherit the problems. Well unfortunately before we get to ten billion,WW3 should happen.So in theory,if nothing changes for the better,and the prophecies fulfill, which will probably be the case since we never learn until its to late, if every third and fourth person dies in most of the densely populated countries then our population will be drastically reduced probably by at least 2 or 3 billion. Which doesn't mean that we won't continue the insanity after we've destroyed the world and each other but a form of sick population control/reduction. | ||

Re: regarding sick population reduction Yes, that's what I expect, as well. The idea of overpop is not in vogue right now, but when it finally hits, it's gonna hit hard. Salome Dave I am in the UK too. Last year I had a brief conversation with a woman and the subject of overpopulation popped up. Well I mentioned it  She said to me and this is her exact words "I will never be without food because I can just go to the superstore and buy food". Amazing, food grows from superstores. I have been wrong all my life that when I see fruit and veg growing that it is never used as food. After she said this I ended the conversation for the sake of my own sanity. True how some people are so uneducated and nieve about life and how things work on the planet they live on. We all know Billy is the original opponent to climate change, and in 2009 the CIA opened up a center to study the effects of climate change: https://www.cia.gov/news-information/press-releases-statements/center-on-climate-change-and-national-security.html quote: "ts charter is not the science of climate change, but the national security impact of phenomena such as desertification, rising sea levels, population shifts, and heightened competition for natural resources. The CIA is well positioned to deliver that intelligence,” said Director Leon Panetta." There is no mention of overpopulation of course. With someone unlikely as the CIA opening a center to study the effects of climate change, it makes you wonder why climate change and overpopulation isn't making political headway with world leaders, and on regular rotation on news programs. The problem of course is that so many scientists state that the worlds population will naturally peak at 9.2 billion in the year 2050 by low and similar birth and death rates as more countries become industrialized and more women become empowered, so according to them there is nothing to worry about. That is contrary to what Billy says that our population won't cease until a worldwide birthstop is legislated. This isn't really overpopulation related but a pre-programmed cosmic event. My search engine translated the article, and now I can see they are going to study it/attach devices on the first pass (2029) and try to deflect it on the second pass (2036). I'm glad the Russians are on it, I hope they follow through so Apophis doesn't strike, and they get more countries involved so it can be international unison like the notes said. I know they tried and are at odds with NASA, if the meteor passes close enough in 2029 maybe lots of countries will sign up. While Obama fails to mention overpopulation is the main cause for climate change. He is the obvious candidate to vote for in this election, who has and will continue to battle climate change. With this planet being overpopulated, there are people who don't want children, they are questioned? Plus, they are looked upon as selfish and are considered freaks. On the other hand, people who want children, they are never questioned. What need to be done is that the people who want children need to be questioned. But, that never occurs and there are children that are born to parents that are not married. People need to stop questioning people who do not want any children. |
