Hi Corey,

I also found a nice report stating some facts about climate change, global warming and this particular document I am linking to, explains the causes of such, from a report in 2007.

Hi Melissa,

That was a good read. Thanks. Some of their (IPCC) graphs and fiqures from their last assessment have been in some of the global warming books that I've read showing different scenarios, light, medium, and high estimates of what global warming will do until the year 2100 I always look at the high estimate because I don't see any major changes going on such as climate legislation or reductions in population going on. I recently read a book entitled "Deep future" by Curt Stager that made the case that changes to our atmosphere and higher temperatures may be with us for thousands and even hundreds of thousands of years. Whether that is true or not I do not know, it's a pretty good read once you can get past all of the intellectual mumbo jumbo.

Ptaah:
That is right, because if the global conveyor belt – which as the enormous current runs through the seas and constantly mixes their water – breaks down, then the movement of the oceans will cease, which then means that the majority all life on Earth will be extinguished. It is already, at the present time, very bad, because the oceans have warmed to an alarming degree, and indeed in the last 17.9 years, with a thermal energy which must be computed as the equivalent of two (2) billion Hiroshima atom bombs. Through the fault of the Earth humanity, the Earth is now already in the midst of this destructive process, whereby the oceans, and the global conveyor belt, increasingly heat up increasingly dangerously.
-------------------------------
"A back-of-the-envelope calculation might add further perspective. Consider the ocean heat content for the 20 years from 1990 to 2010 when about 14 × 10^22 J were added."

Billy: "..... Semjase. She explained that heat was tapped deep in the interior of the planet and, with it, gigantic thermal power plants were operated, by means of which all energy requirements on your planets could be met, before further energy producing technologies were developed which were free of harmful substances. No dangerous waste products of any kind thereby arose and there were no worst-possible-case-scenarios and super worst-possible-case-scenarios, as became evident with your earlier atomic power plants and which also inevitably occur again and again here on the Earth with the atomic power plants."

Hi Corey....

Such floods do occur occasionally.

It was said, that it has now risen to about 1 meter, more than the last time,
in certain places.

The closes city from where I live is flooded, again. Buildings with water up
to half front door or even ABOVE the front door!

Certain cities you can not enter.

And, the people just keep on living there!! When, they know...it can always
happen, again, again, again and again.....

Well, as long as it is insured: NO problems, I guess....

Edward,

Someone once asked Billy what should be done to help 3rd world countries if someone had $10 million dollars and his answer was (April 29, 2004):

Answer:

The 10 million dollars (and all other donations) should be used to start a project (or projects) that helps a certain group of persons in a country to lead a life of self-preservation and self-responsibility. The persons should be taught to work all day in order to grow their own food, but also to learn self-respect, to think for themselves and not follow like sheep to religious and other leaders who only have their own profit in mind. People must learn how to lead a useful and sensible life, and about the requirements to found a good family. All women must have access to education and free access to contraceptives (as is also the case with men). And of course help is only useful if the people are willing to learn and are ready the take self-responsibility.
Besides: Those who have to work hard all day are tired in the evening and have less energy left for activities in the bed. :-)

It is completely wrong to only send food because in this way only beggars and lethargic people are fostered, and the next famine is already certain.

Salome

During my visit to the SSSC last week I learned a few things. One of these things is that the weather system is now broken. This information is known by many who read the Figu texts.

However what should be known is that it is broken beyond repair or at least for around 1 million years. This means that the weather system will get worse as human beings continue to act irresponsibly towards the nature and refuse to bare responsibility. It took 646,000,000,000 years for the Earth to evolve from gases and molecules to what the Earth was like 100 - 200 years ago. It has taken human beings 200 years to destroy what took 646,000,000,000 years of Creation Laws to create.

So another 1 million years for everything to turn back to normal regarding the weather system on Earth. Should we start now??

Hi Stephen, That is startling information to find out that it will take another million years for our weather to recover to normal!

But I wondered in a few thousands years or so from now when we harness free energy and our technological level is way above what it is from now, shouldn't we be able to fix the weather system much earlier then a million years through technical means?

Stephen, u & I r here 4 what, 2-10 dozen years? .. these millions & millions of years are all infinitely beyond any reference points in my consciousness.

Naturally, I'm joking about an incomprehensible situation that is out of my or your control. I guess I should get out there & tell teenagers & whomever to stop breeding because its affecting the weather. I'm sure they'd listen.

I do what I can when the situation allows.

Here is an interesting article about Climate Change and increased violence.

Rise in violence 'linked to climate change'
By Rebecca Morelle Science reporter, BBC World Service

Shifts in climate are strongly linked to increases in violence around the world, a study suggests.
US scientists found that even small changes in temperature or rainfall correlated with a rise in assaults, rapes and murders, as well as group conflicts and war.

The team says with the current projected levels of climate change, the world is likely to become a more violent place.

Marshall Burke, from the University of California, Berkeley, said: "This is a relationship we observe across time and across all major continents around the world. The relationship we find between these climate variables and conflict outcomes are often very large."

The researchers looked at 60 studies from around the world, with data spanning hundreds of years.
They report a "substantial" correlation between climate and conflict.

Their examples include an increase in domestic violence in India during recent droughts, and a spike in assaults, rapes and murders during heatwaves in the US.

The report also suggests rising temperatures correlated with larger conflicts, including ethnic clashes in Europe and civil wars in Africa.

Kenneth,

I would say that report is highly accurate and is a grim future on this runaway train without brakes we have called global warming/climate change, mainly due to overpopulation and automobiles/fossil fuel use. Heating up equals more war, violence, rapes, conflict, and degeneration. Either way, the Plejarens say us Earth humans are more then 75% responsible for climate change, and in the generations ahead, when everyone is trying to reverse the damage done by environmental catastrophe after it's too late, those words will probably still be denied by some, and ring true and be accepted by others. Our consciousness evolution is still too low to expect any major changes as far as climate change/overpopulation from any governments. We'll have to undertake more errors and guilt and most likely degenerate further before people learn from these mistakes. Question is: after people have learned and great changes are enacted, will there be any flora, fauna, food, water, and resources left? Or will the world be desert overcome by war? Most likely desert like the unchangeable predictions say. Earth human megalomania in which we think we are equal or higher then the laws and recommendations of Creation is too rampant right now and unfortunately it will take lots of long, terrible lessons to teach the masses and powers-that-be some modesty to try and do what is best for our home planet for longevity's sake, and so we can all have a good future. So in other words, for the foreseeable future, we are in for a bad future and damn near every nation is guilty for it. And instead of going to heaven like the bible says, people will be reincarnating in the thick of it, in the meantime, it will be more Congressional investigations for climate scientists who try to sound the alarm. Frustrating stuff and the masses continue to have no ears for words of truth.

Hi all

as it is said 'you can't cure stupidity except in/by death'

Whilst the upheaval of our weather system creates enormous environmental catastrophe such as increased cyclones, earthquakes, heatwaves, snowstorms, floods, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes and what have you, you still have the global warming deniers whether paid for or not, in denial completely rejecting the unequivocal truth that man and his actions are the major cause of global warming.

Bound by and severely restricted by their sense of egotism, arrogance and know-it-all-ism they still moronically contend that the activity of the sun is the main reason why we are having all these abnormal weather and climatic activity.

It doesn't help when the conspiracy theorists add fuel to the fire by contending that the super rich elites are conspiring to use the global warming hoax to steal more money from the public.

It also doesn't help to have a cunning profit hungry scoundrel like Al Gore as a spokesperson for this global warming crisis where he is said to profit enormously through carbon credit scheme foisted on the masses.

No significant debate about overpopulation as the main cause contributing to global warming is engaged nor the proper ways of reducing the world population to curb this unstoppable crisis.

You then have the criminals in cohorts with one another in high office and in the energy industries unrelenting in their drive to extract every last drop of oil to line their fat pockets for profit.

The stupid, willfully ignorant, dumb, moronic, dimwitted and infantile masses don't help the cause by remaining affixed to their latest smart HDTV sets lapping up garbage as truth where no real dissension and patriotism is exercised.

When will all this madness end.

Newinitiation,

That Al guy sent me an email three weeks ago about climate change. I has previously sent him an email about overpopulation being the main source for climate change, with a few links to FIGU websites discussing the matter. He is well aware of the overpopulation problem. Too bad you have such negative things to say about a man that has done so much good. But you certainly are entitled to your opinion.

I also hear that Horn dude has been in contact with that Romney guy.

Maybe some of you should spend more time reaching out to people off forum instead of rehashing and bashing the same topics over and over again here.

Schantz,

I have been a letter writer for anti-overpopulation, renewable energy, and anti-climate change for many years now. I write letters, sign petitions, send emails, basically reach out to people. I try to be a force of the polar opposite to the anti-Creational forces that make up the powers-that-be and exercise my right of speaking up and out, a characteristic that will I will hopefully re-learn in future incarnations. One time I even signed a pro-FIGU overpopulation petition that went straight to Barack Obama put together by the late FIGU forum poster JRod7. My particular frustration stems from most of the time legislators never even write back, or if they do they double talk their way to reiterate why things should stay the same instead of changing for the positive. Most governmental leaders are too closed minded for vast sweeping changes needed, which is a sad reflection of the masses, something that will only change by future negative disasters and further degeneracy before they are willing to change for the better. But still I write...

Al Gore has been a source of curiosity for me since he was the focal point of FIGU's open letter to Al Gore some years ago. He was commended by FIGU for vocalizing the correlation between C02 emissions and rise of population levels in his documentary "An Inconvenient Truth". I recently attended a Google hangout with Al Gore about climate change, many of the comments days prior to the hangout mentioned overpopulation but there was no mention of it during the actual hangout. He did have many negative things to say about nuclear power, and many positive things to say about renewable energy so it wasn't a total loss. I guess we gotta start somewhere, and I consider Al Gore an estranged ally in my quest. I have also been affiliated with Global Green since FIGU officially endorsed the Earth Charter 5 years ago or so.
