Joe,

There is always a new report condemning climate change, but there is never any action to go along with it. There is no global push to switch to electric cars, get rid of coal fired plants, switch to renewable energy, or to deal with the core of the issue: overpopulation. It gets frustrating for me to witness this time and time again, and future generations are gonna be pissed they have to live with so much destruction due to our current inability to manifest some action.

Corey,

What saddens me is in that link I had posted they don't even bother mentioning overpopulation as being at least partly to blame, let alone the root cause.

Ozone layer showing 'signs of recovery', UN says (Oh really?)

I'm a bit sceptical about this but then again it does go on to say that carbon dioxide is still problematic.

Anyone from the state of California might want to read this:

Water rationing hits California: limit of 50 gallons per person per day or face fines of $500

http://www.naturalnews.com/047061_water_rationing_California_drought.html#

The state of California is the most populated state in the USA but unfortunately the US government is doing nothing to halt all births. The USA has a population of over 300 million people and is certainly overpopulated.

"With California in the middle of an acute shortage, Governor Jerry Brown has encouraged more people to come even though they too will consume water for drinking, bathing, and cleaning just like the rest of state. Brown has also promoted larger families. Last month at a political rally in Sacramento, Brown shockingly invited all of Mexico to come to California even if they don’t have “permission.” California already has more than 2.5 million illegal immigrants, most from Mexico. Along with Brown’s expansive invitation, he chided “affluent” Californians who have sensibly chosen to have fewer children. As Brown crudely phrased it, the rich aren’t “producing children.” Brown also urged establishing a $3 million fund for Central Americans who unlawfully entered California this summer during the border surge. Most of the money would be used for lawyers to represent nearly 4 thousand Central Americans who joined their California families. The lawyers would prepare asylum petitions that would lead to eventual permanent residency status. But the newly born children, the immigrants and the asylees Brown wants in California will have to scrape by for water, assuming there are a few drops left to fight over." http://www.capsweb.org/opinion-releases/california-dry-someone-tell-jerry-brown

When the water runs out, where are all the illegal immigrants going to go? ...perhaps only the rich will be able to stay, because they will have the money to purchase water....

Quod licet iovi ….

We witness a world of evil and injustice.
How can we view opposites as part of a greater oneness as Jmmanuel explained (TJ - chapter 34)?

We have mentioned that at the time of Atlantis many races prospered in the Mediterranean because of its moderate climate and because some of the Atlantis knowledge found its way to e.g. Egypt, Crete and Greece.

So it may not surprise that some of the thoughts of ancient Greeks resemble Jmmanuel’s thoughts on oneness.

E.g. Heraclites (Greece 544 B.C.E.) :
“Everything comes out of the battle of two opposite forces… Out of discord comes the fairest harmony.”

This expresses one of the most important laws of (micro- and macro) cosmic life - the law of correlativity.

It says that all events in our universe – e.g. the evolution of the cosmos, the evolution of species, historical events we witness, etc. they all are - not absolute nor relative – but correlative.
They appear as opposites which complement each other.

E.g. there are two opposite forces of gravity.

Firstly there is inorganic universal gravitation which pulls everything to the center of a body:
Planetary centers are the center of this type of gravitation.
E.g. moving objects and beings on Earth (like e.g. animals and humans) are pulled to the ground.
If there would be no inorganic gravitation humans, animals, stones etc would fall off our planet (rotation speed 1670 km/h).

Secondly there is as well creative organic gravitation which makes our universe expand and which drives a young plant’s sprout in the opposite direction (out from the earth towards the sun),

If inorganic gravitation would be without its opposite (organic gravitation) then evolution could not occur.
Plant seeds could not grow sprouts, birds could not fly, beasts could not move - the inorganic gravity would keep them glued in/to the ground, and without green plants there would be no oxygen which animals and humans need to breath.
In short - the evolution of species would not be possible.

So both (organic and inorganic) gravity forces are necessary for life on Earth.

There are many other samples of opposite states / forces that do -if one ponders about them deeply - complement each other (life/death – female/male etc.).

We may conclude:

Nothing exists independently, by itself, in an absolute form.
All that exists is mutually interdependent.
Opposite forces are not only contrary but as well complementary to one another.

Billy wrote the following comment) in relation to Jmmanuel’s explanations (my own translation from German):

‘That everything is one resp. a “unified whole in itself” may be best explained (by comparing it) with electricity.
The negative pole forms in itself an absolute and 100 % unit of energy and force thereof.
The same applies for the positive pole which in itself is an absolute and 100 % unit of energy and force.

Each pole alone – without the other pole - is not capable to achieve anything.
Consequently an effect is only produced when both poles come together.
The joining of both poles – i.e. plus and minus – results in a new 100 % unit.

That implies as well that one without the other is virtually useless and they only become an effective value by joining them together.

And if now the negative in itself carries the positive, and the positive in itself carries the negative then this corresponds to potential effect of what the positive is capable of using the negative and similarly what the negative is capable of using the positive – only this link makes a (new) unit possible.

In other words this says that the positive and negative must have both the ability to assimilate and join together into one unit as a result of this junction an effect is generated.

This principle is valid for all forms of electricity and electronics – from this follows that electric motors and luminaries only function if both poles which each in themselves are a 100% unit and possess as well the ability of counter-polarity meaning that they can unite with the other pole to create a new unit.

Like the poles – negative and positive (resp. plus or minus) – function in the fields of electricity and electronics, so the same principle is applied for explosion motors.
But here the forms of negative and positive are very different and of a different type than in electricity and electronics.

But the principle of positive and negative not only works in the mentioned things (systems) but it permeates the whole existence of all things.

It applies as well to the creation of life whereby the negative egg is fertilized by the positive sperm.
So this principle works as well for humans in relation to the good and evil.

Thus the evil can develop – through the good that joins it – into something valuable like love, peace, freedom, beneficence, harmony, honesty, compassion, readiness to help, dignity and honour and balance, too.

On the other hand the good can be influenced as well by the evil, if a corresponding linkage is created.

That is why we should ask ourselves what effect we create by joining the two poles negative and positive together, what to define as good and evil in relation to the thoughts and feelings of humans and which determine his behaviour in every respect.”

So in conclusion: all Creation is defined as “oneness when two opposite forces join together”.

Can we apply this principle to events of our time?

Because there is not one bit of good in beheading innocent humans and filming the beheadings to instill fear and submission.

If these evil, negative forces are “correlated” the question then would be – what is it that humanity fails to see / do?

In a nutshell it is what Plato asserts in his “Laws”:
“… The love of money has led the Phoenicians and Egyptians to develop skills in cunning and trickery rather than wisdom.”
(Plato used to word “panourgos” which literally means “ready to do anything” in the sense of treacherous)
So the problem was well known even in antiquity.

To substantiate Plato’s finding let us analyse our present day Middle East scenario:

The main players here are Russia, Iran, Syria and Turkey, USA, western countries, Israel, the Kurds and rebellious forces (ISIL and non ISIL).

What do we read in our newspaper?

We read that Iran is a nuclear menace to the West / Israel.
That Iran’s ally, Syria, is ruled by yet another cruel dictator.
That the US and Israel (supported by western countries) see Iran as a potential nuclear threat and they feel threatened by Syria’s dictatorship.

To topple Syria’s government the US trained and armed rebel forces in Syria.
One of these rebel forces is ISIL.
They systematically violate the tenets of Sunni Islam –so it is questionable whether they are Sunni Muslims or mainly pro-Saddam revanchists.

ISIL’s main victims are the Kurds – a people without a country – which live in northern Syria/Iraq and southern Turkey.

The Kurds would like to have self-rule which is not in Turkey’s, Syria’s and Iraq’s interest.

Finally - In view of ISIL’s mass killings and the continued beheadings of western hostages - the US and its allies started to train and arm the Kurds “a little” and assist their fight against ISIL with air strikes.

That is what our newspapers want us to know.
The US and its allies support what is right and good.

What do we not read in the main stream newspapers?

We do not read about the Petrodollar system which Mr. Kissinger arranged with oil producing countries *)

According to this system any country buying oil is to pay the oil producing country in US$.
In exchange the US offered the oil producing country protection of their oil fields.

This “protection money” system worked very well for the US:
The increased oil demand (by 2015: 100 billion barrel per day) lead to an increased demand for US$.

Not only that the US$ is permanently high in demand and permanently a very strong currency making imports much cheaper for US citizens. More importantly the US can perpetually print new US$ ( = to increase their debts without paying for it).
It perpetually increases the living standards of US citizens – without any work.

Implications:
“How “much better it is” if one is a US citizen” … is the rationale behind the high illegal immigration to the US .
There should be an effect that balances the US self-interest … is the rationale for those unlucky ones that don’t get there.

Some 2000 years ago Jmmanuel warned:

“And the black oil will be set alight through the hate and war and greed of power hungry humans.
And the sky will darken because of the smoke and burning fires, for hundreds of days and all over the country(ies) and far away from it(them) will be covered in ashes and soot.” (TJ 25:50 – own translation)

In view of the present-day-situation in the Middle East this time is not far off.

“Protection Money”

The US money printing accelerated to such a degree that some governments decided this inflationary debt backed currency would not benefit their country.

Saddam Hussein (SH) and Gaddafi (G) were cruel dictators.
But they were tolerated as long as they accepted US$ payments.
But when they wanted to be paid in other currencies for their oil the US felt threatened.

We know that the Iraq war was based on false arguments (weapons of mass destruction).

And they supported the rebellion in Libya.

SH and G (and esp. their sons) were certainly heartless and vicious.
But at least they kept their countries free of those terrorists that roam Iraq and Libya today.

Gaddafi wanted to use most of his oil monies for the benefit of his citizens - to irrigate all Libya http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Man-Made_River

But no mainstream western newspaper would ever dare to mention this fact.
(And not one word that the US initially supported / trained all rebels in Syria – including ISIL).

Iran has one of the greatest oil reserves in the world.
It opened in Feb 2008 an oil bourse which accepts various currencies other than the US dollar.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iranian_oil_bourse

In view of what happened to Iraq and Libya when they wanted to sell their oil for non US$ does it surprise that the US tries to create an alliance against Iran and its ally Syria?

Is it a wonder that countries like Russia find the petrodollar scheme unfair and support Iran?

That they even start to create an alliance (BRICS) against the western monetary system ?

But Turkey is the best example of how little unity is in our world for “doing what is right”.

Turkey wants to be part of Europe and is a member of NATO – both assisting the Kurds.
Turkey alone has some 1 Mio. Soldiers – it would be easy for them to eliminate ISIL (total of 60,000 fighters).

But it lists the Kurds as a terror organisation and threat to national security.
So ISIL can continue its regime of horrible atrocities.

To top it up - Turkey’s leader blames the US for not doing enough to prevent the onslaught of ISIL.

And each time another innocent western hostage is beheaded – one cannot believe it:
Is not a country that could but does not prevent genocide complicit?

Who in the western alliance is courageous to put human dignity first and national self interest second?

Clearly their sense of “what is right” is on a wrong footing.

After the Iraq war fiasco it is understandable that Obama is very reluctant to invade another country.

But the world should be united to fight what is truly evil.
Because in this instance it is right to fight with ground troops – and end what is a horror to watch.

Summa inuria – “Quod licet Jovi non licet bovi” **)

Some world leaders portray themselves as honest protagonists of democratic principles.

But in a false pride they see it justified to control other countries, spy on them, use others’ resources to increase their own wealth/living standards and do not allow others to free themselves of payments with hyper-inflated paper currency.

Via clever schemes they mask doing to others what they do not allow others to do to them.

This double standard blocks a fair, equal and truthful co-operation between the peoples on our planet.

It violates as well the positive life force that flows through all Creation.
“Everything is a unity and everything develops out of the oneness of Creation – there is no dualism or trinity – because this dualism or trinity is a violation of the laws of Creation” (TJ 34:48)

Ergo as long as our leaders defend inequality, we will have more cancers like ISIL.

“A false face must hide what a false heart doth know” (MacBeth / W.S.)

History is filled with urges to “save humanity” used as a false front for the urge to rule.

E.g. many would agree that those that made “peace” in Versailles – in fact inflamed “hate” and caused the rise of Hitler and WWII.

Osama Bin Laden in his “Letter To America”:
“What are we calling you to do and what do we want from you?
We call on you to be a people of manners, principles, honours, and purity; to reject the immoral acts of fornication, homosexuality, intoxicants, gambling and trading with interest…”

He, too, used a double standard to justify the 9/11 atrocities.

But it explains how perceived injustice / immorality creates a bottled up hate.

Like Hitler these terrorists are able to recruit their followers on polished up “high principles” – be they religious or ideological.

The result: the genocide of many innocent people.
“Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity.

"Hate destroys a man’s sense of values and his objectivity.
It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true.” (M.L. King Jr.)

So yes – Hitler, OBL and ISIL were/are a horror and have no place in human society.

But like everything in our universe – so terrorism, too – is not an absolute but a correlated entity.
For each protagonist there is one or more antagonists.

As long as leaders only declare but do not apply human rights (e.g. “All men are equal”) there cannot be peace in our world.

It is ignorance that causes the atrocities in our world.

As if one would treat a person’s sickness without knowing its cause: it will only make the person sicker than before.

As terrorists and major powers stubbornly cling to their imagined superiority they fail to see the correlation of occurrences.

They fail to see that the source of human suffering is the illusion of being superior.
Superiority breeds conceit and avarice and always ends in isolation.

Is that so hard to understand?

We need leaders that promote a global not a national / religious agenda.

The situation in the Middle East, epidemics like Ebola, looming catastrophes like the Red Meteor.

They occur to unite humanity.
To change their current way of thinking.
To be motivated to find peace in wisdom and human dignity.
To open up their consciousness to an ever expanding oneness with the universe.

“We are members of one great body, planted by nature…. We must consider that we were born for the good of the whole.”

The Great Injustice:

"What is permissible for Jove (Jupiter) is not permissible for the ox"

This phrase is a reference to the Greek myth wherein Zeus (Roman: Jupiter) took the form of a bull to seduce Europa.

Later on in Roman times e it was used to explain “what is right for the emperor (=the son of “Jupiter”, the highest Roman god), is not right for the common man (the ox). “

So the phrase indicates the existence of a double standard :
"What is permitted to a privileged person or group, is not permitted to everyone."

It was used to justify the dogma and egotism of worldly and religious leaders ever since .

Bill,

You post about two polar opposites forming a oneness is spot on. Nice research about the examples of the two gravities!

Your notes about ISIL seem spot on. -May those who would start promoting a global agenda, versus a religious/national agenda find their way to power. (I suppose it is up to us individuals to help them get there).

Your right, the Red Meteor will either unite us, and we will deflect it, or it will destroy many of us, and create a new landmass out of destruction when it strikes.

Hi Bill,

This interests me:

"If inorganic gravitation would be without its opposite (organic gravitation) then evolution could not occur.

So what force is it that has seeds and plants reaching outwards for the surface, the sun as any energy source, and other nutrients such as water, oxygen and an exposure to pollinators such as birds, bees, insects ?

Is it a pull force from above or a push force from below.
Cheers.

"Is it a pull force from above or a push force from below."

Interesting question, Ramirez. I'd say it has to be both again. There is the force within the seed that reaches (pushes) to the light -- even through a tarmac road -- and a pull from the light, warmth and nutrients above from the sun. The push seems instinctive since even in darkness this occurs until the sprout collapses back down after not finding any sunlight. Upon finding sunlight however, when such occurs, the plant continues upwards, and this is then due to the influence of sunlight.

Hi Ramirez,

There is a pull force “from below” and one “from above”.
Instead of “organic and inorganic gravity” NASA uses the term “gravitropism” *) to describe the effects of the pull of gravity on the up-down plant growth response.
So the upward growth of plant parts, against gravity, is called "negative gravitropism", and the downward growth of roots is called "positive gravitropism".

The plant responses to gravity are regulated by the (plant) hormone “auxin”:

“The differential sensitivity to auxin helps explain Darwin's original observation that stems and roots respond in the opposite way to the gravity vector. In both roots and stems auxin accumulates towards the gravity vector on the lower side.

In roots, this results in the inhibition of cell expansion on the lower side and the concomitant curvature of the roots towards gravity (positive gravitropism).
In stems, the auxin also accumulates on the lower side, however in this tissue it increases cell expansion and results in the shoot curving up (statolithic gravitropism).”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravitropism

It is noteworthy that though light is an important factor for plant growth - plants that are kept in the dark still grow up and their roots still grow down.

Salome

Bill

*)
According to Billy animals act on “instinct” plants act on “impulse”.
The latter ("impulse") is similar to the meaning of tropism = “tendency of a plant / animal to turn or move in response to a stimulus” (Greek tropos = to turn) “

Thanks for the details, Bill. Interesting. Notably, the upward movement of the plant stem invariably crashes down if the absence of light persists.

Hi Chris,

Light certainly is a very important "impulse" for plant growth.

But synthetic substances may cause light effects in plants that are kept in the dark.
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/05/120516093154.htm

NASA’s explanation:

“Many different explanations have been proposed for why plant shoots grow “up” and roots grow “down.” (The growth of roots downward, in the direction of the pull of gravity, is called positive gravitropism and the growth of shoots upward, away from the pull of gravity, is called negative gravitropism. Other plant parts, such as root hairs and leaves, may exhibit transversal gravitropism, growing perpendicular to the main up-down axis
of the plant.)

Scientists have conducted experiments to clarify this phenomenon since at least the early nineteenth century when A. de Candolle showed that moisture was not the determining factor.
British physiologist A. Knight demonstrated that root tips are not pulled downward by their own weight.
Others have observed that shoots of plants kept in the dark still grow up and roots still grow down, so light was also ruled out as the sole reason plants grow the way they do.”

http://www.nasa.gov/pdf/562190main_LS4_Gravitropism_C4.pdf

Perhaps we should see all life forms as part of universal life:

“As Creation is a true spirit (Creational Spirit) that lives, so she, too, has to rise up (to perfect itself) to infinity.
But as she is one in itself, she can perfect herself through her own generated creations (Life Forms, Humans, Spirit Forms) – that is to say by creating new spirit forms that live (as creational spirit) inside humans and enliven them and through their (new spirit forms’) learning and evolution it perfects itself.”
(TJ 34:4-5, own translation)

So whenever we find “one opposite” in our environment (like e.g. the “up” or “down” growth of plant parts) we should question what is the “correlated event” and what is the “entity above the opposites” that unites them.

Recognizing this unity - opening our mind to a greater oneness – is a stepping stone in our evolution.
If we continue to do so we will come more and more to the insight that “everything develops out of the oneness of Creation” as Jmmanuel indicated in TJ 34:38.

“…….From all things one and from one all things” (Heraklites)

IMO the opposite gravitational pulls (one to the center of the Earth – one away from it) – reflect the membrane like “breathing movement” of all living beings incl. the universe itself (7 expansions – 7 contractions) *)

Ergo the opposite **) growth of plant parts are but one of many harmonious expressions of the pulsating creational life force.

Salome

Bill

*)
Our scientists are still not certain what causes the universe to expand.
It may be dark energy:
“The evidence is now getting stronger that there really is a force in the universe that competes with gravity and causes repulsion instead of attraction," says Ostriker (Prof. em. Princeton)
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/1999/05/990526061048.htm

Or the opposite relationship between matter and antimatter:
“Now, a new study reveals an alternative theory: that the expansion of the universe is actually due to the relationship between matter and antimatter. According to this study, matter and antimatter gravitationally repel each other and create a kind of “antigravity” that could do away with the need for dark energy in the universe.”
http://www.universetoday.com/84934/antigravity-could-replace-dark-energy-as-cause-of-universes-expansion/

**)
As for the reason why each new creation develops out of a pair of opposites -
“…Out of the discord comes the fairest of harmony.”

I knew Billy was going to say enforce strict Borders controls from Ebola countries & Obama is doing the exact opposite. The Politically Correct Liberal News Media has taken his side. Claiming the Conservative Right are using the crisis to call for Border control & no travel for racial reasons. Obama refuses to implement a travel ban from West Africa. The USAs Southern border is wide open. If Ebola hits South America they will run to the USA for help and infect the USA. I don't know how we will survive this. I'm at the Hospital a lot dealing with my own personal issues & from my personal experience there's no way Hospitals in the USA can contain an Ebola outbreak that big. Obama just doesn't get it his policy is insane!

Norm, it seems mad that the US and some other nations do not have travel bans from West Africa. Imo all nations should have travel bans from West Africa. This is the only way to contain the Ebola epidemic from spreading worldwide. Maybe certain powers want it to spread so they can make money on medicines?

Hi Norm / Vincent,

Billy is definitely right.

The only way to control this disease from spreading are strict border controls.
Anyone travelling out of West Africa should first live for 3 weeks in a quarantine like complex to make sure travelers have no virus.

Without such strict controls air travel is not safe.

Norm, I don't think some other nations hospitals can contain an Ebola outbreak either. Here's how it's done in England. I wonder why the patient isn't in a box as well?

p.s. the Daily Mail article describes how the Ambulance staff are purchasing their own protective gear since they believe the official issue is inadequate.

Though I do not know whether this source is reliable it may be beneficial to read the following re. a future Ebola vaccine:

> This is another important factor: Turgidity, is caused by the osmotic = flow of water from area of low solute concentration outside of the cell = into the cell's vacuole, which has a higher solute concentration. = Healthy plant cells are turgid and plants rely on turgidity to maintain = rigidity.
