I'll make a little correction on my previous statement about you being 'blind'. You have yet to open your eyes and don't understand what blind means. The topic is 'over population'. What have you done in your community so far? Why listen to someone who only talks about an issue. Those with the experiences dealing with this challenge have viable responses to questions about increasing awareness of over population. Bring something to the table if would please. You waste more time twirling around your hissy fit of an excuse why you don't want to discuss your successes in dealing with the idea of local awareness towards this challenge. Where's the beef? Saying, 'yes', to some game? I must admit, you lost me on that one. What exactly did you think members here were going to think of this statement in post 241: "IMHO, the only way those who care will ever create an opportunity to tackle this issue will be to act with cunning and clever disguise so as not to attract attention to the effort and evade the opposition. " I understand this is your opinion. And your offering an idea to approach this issue. What happens is those who actually study the materials and contemplate each new piece of greater knowledge, thoughts as you have posed here seem out of place. It's a worthy goal to want to change the world for the better and I welcome all efforts that will lead to change. Each of us will discover our own ways of changing the world around us, as this is surely the way it will happen. Or is that me trying to force you to see farther than you can right now? Reasonableness is not to much to ask here is it? Talking about something your inexperienced about is not the problem here. Doing something your inexperienced about is the solution. May I suggest to approach them with a short note of introduction to see if they can translate from the English text version, or if they would prefer a German text. Following our Christmas and New Year Call for support, we received today a E-card from the Nelson Mandela Foundation, saying: "Thank you for your thoughts and wishes" - i am not a wonder in electronic things, but i shall try to have the whole E-card on 'Futureofmankind'. And as already mentioned, we got a massive personal endorsement from 'Initiatives of Change'( IofC:http://www.caux.ch/ ) and the words there were, "Best of luck in the good work you are doing." Now then. Herr J_rod7, thanks for the list and contact information of FIGU groups worldwide. It is indeed important to form a united front on this issue and actively involving our Kameraden would substantially help the cause. It would also certainly help, if other groups have forums and there were a thread(somehow), some sort of 'all-FIGU announcements' area for members', where our petition and the request of translation and support could be posted. But we do not have that. We then have to address those forums per traditional post - Canada being the exception. Kamerad Pathfinder-Hunter, could you please send a message to the Canadian group(info@ca.figu.org)? We shall manage with other languages, but we need a short text in Italian and Checkoslovakian, where the situation is explained and a call for help with translations is clearly formulated.
