Ron Paul seems more-likley the person to help fulfill the mission..not to undermine Obama. A lot of people i talk to don't even know who he is let alone someone running for president. Tien

Dear All, This morning, I was enjoying the news of Noble Peace Prize won by Obama while taking my daughter to school but then I was stunned by the way the media was reacting to this. They were mostly making fun of Obama and Carter as winners of this prize. Some said that Bush and Regan deserved the prize instead and others said that it is not a surprise because when American president is apologetic and week is when this prize is received. I am afraid aggressiveness has become a rule rather than an exception in public conscious here in States. Frankly, it is also quite a surprise that some of the members still debate about this president while they are exposed to Billy’s teachings. We tend to forget who brought us to this mess and the caliber of the effective politics that has to be played in the world stage to right this wrong. In order for Obama or anyone for that matter to have even a minuscule change of this downward direction is to sort of ride this existing wave and make little adjustments or else he will be conveniently terminated. A good example for this is the human spine. Each vertebrae is capable of a very small degree of movement but the sum of each makes the spine tremendously flexible to make over 360 degree changes of direction. Even though he is using the only possible strategy to do so, his administration is bombarded with nonsensical fear mongering and unsubstantiated criticism. I sometime wonder if we deserve this opportunity as a nation by the way general public is scrutinizing him. Please realize the teaching when Billy says to be a neutral positive observer not a fighter. If anyone doubts the righteousness of him receiving this prize, I remind them of his great speech in Cairo. If America portraits the admittance of past mistakes while without steering the hatred focusing on the advancement in the future with the actions and steps taken today, as a sign of weakness then America will not evolve. We all know that Billy says evolution can be accomplished by exactly what Obama is doing which is to face challenges and mistakes without denying them, but not fight it aggressively such as acts of capital punishment and war and taking appropriate and peaceful steps today to guarantee a better tomorrow. We know that Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq have been brought up to a point by our direct mistakes but the presence of an international army that Billy refers to as a solution has to be there or else they become terrorist harboring havens. We have a great saying back home; Thousand wise men may not be able to find a pebble that a mad man drops at the bottom of a well. To undo the effects of huge past mistakes without making it worse takes great amount of time and diligence. Bellow is the letter I received when the United States president took his valuable time to write this to people like me and you. “Zhila -- This morning, Michelle and I awoke to some surprising and humbling news. At 6 a.m., we received word that I'd been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009. To be honest, I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who've been honored by this prize -- men and women who've inspired me and inspired the entire world through their courageous pursuit of peace. But I also know that throughout history the Nobel Peace Prize has not just been used to honor specific achievement; it's also been used as a means to give momentum to a set of causes. That is why I've said that I will accept this award as a call to action, a call for all nations and all peoples to confront the common challenges of the 21st century. These challenges won't all be met during my presidency, or even my lifetime. But I know these challenges can be met so long as it's recognized that they will not be met by one person or one nation alone. This award -- and the call to action that comes with it -- does not belong simply to me or my administration; it belongs to all people around the world who have fought for justice and for peace. And most of all, it belongs to you, the men and women of America, who have dared to hope and have worked so hard to make our world a little better. So today we humbly recommit to the important work that we've begun together. I'm grateful that you've stood with me thus far, and I'm honored to continue our vital work in the years to come. Thank you, President Barack Obama” Let’s give him the chance he deserves for the sake of the very Salome we pray for. Love, Zhila, Thank you Billy.

Greetings Zhilla, I am not an American and speak from a neutral point of view. The world realises that Obama is a much more better choice than Bush. I also think that the Nobel committee has not done justice to Obama's reputation and potential by giving him the prize just after 9 months of him taking Presidential duty. He has shown promise but the outcome of his work is not visible to the greater world and outside US. Do not get me wrong, but I think the Nobel committee could have shown some patience. In an ideal world, people would have respected this decision understanding that his effort in rallying the democrats unitedly and winning the election and thus preventing another Bush-like President has far reaching implications including that of re-focussing U.S. energy on economy rather than military expedition, lowering the chance of Third World War, baby steps towards nuclear disarmament and improving the outlook of the sole superpower in the world. But this is not an ideal world and people will ask questions. In this world, U.S. attract so much mixed feelings that Obama will always be judged not only on the work done, but also what could have been done more. Obama, doing what he has done still fails to meet high expectation of its people and the world. So we have
- Africa thinking "we have at last a US President with African roots but we remain neglected"
- Latin America thinking "better than Bush breathing hot and cold over our neck; so far sweet talk - what next?"
- Europe thinking "could Obama do more to hasten the economic recovery?"
- Arab world thinking "Obama has only so far only removed some troops from Iraq as promised (only because the objectives of war was already met) but taken no action to dismantle dozens of US bases outside US".
- India thinking "Bush was good to us with the nuclear deal, but look at Obama, how he gives billion of dollars of military aid to Pakistan knowing they would be misused."
- China breathing sigh of relief to the de-escalating Sino-US tension with arrival Obama but wants Obama to do more to help elevate China as an Asian superpower.
- Japan is expecting U.S. to lead the world in reversing global warming.
9 months is too low a time for any Presidents to meet any kind of expectation and the Peace Prize has adversely affected his popularity by giving the world something other to talk about other than his charismatic speeches and comparing him favourably with Bush. Recipients (in the last 20 years) like Mikhail Gorbachev, Aung San Suu Kyi, Nelson Mandela, Al Gore with their profound impact on Global future have magnified the expectations of the populace. Regarding the Nobel Prize to Obama, I did hear some good answers, i.e. that the prize is given to those who are working towards peace (because if it was given to those who accomplished it...there would be NO recipients!) and that by giving him the prize, there is - importantly - more pressure on him to NOT further prosecute the war in Afghanistan. I think that is good reasoning and a clever way to exert that pressure, though it remains to be seen how well it will work. |

I received that same letter from President Obama and also listened to the American press responses. It just goes to prove that regardless of which way Pres. Obama leans, the press reports to the angle that hinders his actions. The Republican world is heavily invested in the media as a way to return them to power. Their party is in disarray and without a clear leader. They assume their best hope is to cause Obama to struggle throughout his first term with media attacks. The majority of people are really beginning to see this pattern in the news, and this last attempt with the Nobel Peace Prize offers up a clear example of what has been going on. a friend in america Shawn

Dears Edward, Smukhuti, and Michael, Thank you for your feedbacks. Smukhuti, As I was reading your post I was thinking to reply the same way as Michael except I did not hear it from an outside source as he did. It is simply common sense to me. I think we are becoming like the clock hands across one another in a room that after a while will adjust themselves to move synchronistical, and the melody played is quite magical. Just reread his letter to realize how within and between the words written immediately after receiving the prize there is an undeniable pulsation of a now directly and indirectly designated by this prize a peace mission for the supposedly most powerful man on earth. I think this was the most intelligent decision made by the committee particularly during one of the most sensitive time of earth's humanity precisely contrary to your position in this. I personally raise my hat to such perfect decision but only time can tell how this will unfold. If only he had the majority of American public’s support instead of nonsensical and fruitless rhetoric of his enemies that are also direct enemies of peace. There are too many hand played here behind the scene and the game played is one of the toughest. I am cheering for the peace and hope we all do. After all, the collective conscious of all does direct the reality of humanity as Billy mentioned again in Special Bulletin 49. Salome Zhila, Thank you Billy.

Greetings Michael, It would be great if giving Obama Nobel prize comes to be a passive pressure on him not to persue any more dollar war. I personally like Obama, he brings a new vision to the American Presidency which is at part Democrat and at part his own. If there was a clause that each year Nobel Peace Prize should be given, then this year, Obama is the most deserving candidate. The document uploaded with this post contains a good explanation of the criteria for the Peace prize. I have attached this to the post. Alfred Nobel said the award goes to the "most or the best work" and Obama indeed is the best candidate but the public have its own standard in their mind comparing with the likes of Mikhail Gorbachev, Aung San Suu Kyi, Nelson Mandela, Al Gore all who have got the award after sustained effort in their fields. Hence the controversy. To avoid the controversy, the Nobel committee could have waited another year. This would have removed the questions being asked in the media about a good deserving man. There is no harm skipping a year giving this prize and there was instances when this was done, for e.g. Gandhi was nominated 5 times for the Peace prize but in the fifth time when he was being considered, he was assassinated and the Nobel did not went to any people (in 1948). Extracts from the document:- Alfred Nobel in his will had written "to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between the nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies, and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses." "The AFSC (American Friends Service Commission makes official recommendations) Nobel Committee has formulated its own criteria, without expecting the AFSC nominee to have a perfect score on each one: 1) commitment to nonviolent methods 2) quality as a person and sustained contributions to peace in such areas as justice, human dignity, and the integrity of the environment and 3) possession of a world view rather than a parochial concern, with potential for a global rather than a limited impact." Greeting the moderators and all members, Zhila, Michael, Smukhuti, President Obama has indeed received a huge credit - a clever move from the Nobel committee, indeed!:-) - and he certainly will have to work extraordinary hard to duly honour it. It is also up to us to stand with him and support his efforts, whenever needed, whenever those efforts are in tune with the spirit of FIGU. Salome, Adam. |

I am of the opinion that the people responsible for choosing Obama as the recipient of the Peace prize, may of been impulsed by our friendly P's. This action of Obama as the choice has a certain force to it that will challenge the pressure of sending more troops into Afghanistan as requested by his hawkish general McCrystal. With Obama holding back on his decision in regarding this escalation, the Peace Prize zaps a large part of its needed energy to be realized. A cunning move on the world stage to say the least. a friend in america Shawn

Dear Zhila: Very well said, because Obama received the Nobel Prize for a reason and not Bush, not Clinton, not Reagan, etc… Kissinger received it because it was believed that he had good intentions about the Middle East situation, but the results ended in a worse situation between Israel and Palestine and Afghanistan. So, like Michael Horn said, the Nobel Prize is an incentive to good intentions and to encourage and support. Some comments originate from envy and of course the opposition. Obama, in my opinion is far from perfect, but as Billy has said, he is the best president the USA has had so far. So, that is very remarkable, not even Kennedy has received that honor. In my opinion Robert Kennedy had better intentions and he should have won one, but he was assassinated before we could have found out. In other world news, I wanted to share this article with you…this is about 2012 and what the mayans have to say: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091011/ap_on_re_la_am_ca/lt_mexico_apocalypse2012 Salome, Marcela.

I take nothing away from Obama but I think Cindy Sheehan would have been a better American pick than Obama. She was one of the only ones who hounded Bush throughout his term, and lets not forget, she lost her son in the war as well. To this day, she's out raising awareness about the war. Either way, I'm not a big fan of medals like this. Most of it really comes down to who you know, not what have you done lately. Mark Gilbo

Dear Rod. Please note: A prophetic dream from mother mary .... about 6.55 minutes. http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread508356/pg1&addstar=1&on=7280062#pid7280062 Now here we are aware that mother mary and others like her exist on the lower 4th so with respect to that some caution is advised, however as usual David Wilcock presents some .... not 100% usefull valuable information and yes he has some reliable highly placed sources .... but these sources are perhaps themselves being misled as surely the elites are madder than the march hare succumbing to bouts of bipolar disorder and various impulses from ? mother mary ..... ? Remember last year .... Blossom Goodchild and October 14. Also please note: Wilcock states that a 2 hour television extravaganza has been booked for later this year. Now does anyone really expect that perhaps the so called elites will do a Larry King special ? If a 2 hour media disclosure has been booked with various global media networks and is to occur simultaneously then some basic low level snooping about among these networks can soon reveal the accuracy of such a claim. Are these guys seriously planning to upstage Steven Greer .... disclosure 2009 with tamiflu adds every 15 minutes However as usual what David Wilcock says is ...... very interesting. Cheers.

Rod, Billy spoke of a planned stage treat from space. Is that the same threat you speak of, to the "powers that be"..or a real one? i took "fastwalkers" as a title. Or are they identified ETs? Wonder what the Greys have been up to lately, or the ones warned about through a crop circle..and the Plejaren i believe. I cant follow everything David Wilcock says like reptilian DNA in us, seems to be nonsense. Also, Billy contradicts his "jumproom" stories. Tien

***** Best Greeting to All -- in the continued Blessings of Peace Zhila, Just now got around reading your posts 361 and 362. I gotta say: "Great Balls O' Fire" -- It's almost that I could hear a Rumble of Thunder in the words you wrote. Well Done. And Thank You, Marcela, for your expressed stance. Smukhuti, Thank you for posting = "Alfred Nobel in his will had written "to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between the nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies, and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses." "The AFSC (American Friends Service Commission makes official recommendations) Nobel Committee has formulated its own criteria, without expecting the AFSC nominee to have a perfect score on each one: 1) commitment to nonviolent methods 2) quality as a person and sustained contributions to peace in such areas as justice, human dignity, and the integrity of the environment and 3) possession of a world view rather than a parochial concern, with potential for a global rather than a limited impact." But otherwise, IMO, you are off-base in this: "Obama, doing what he has done still fails to meet high expectation of its people and the world." On the contrary, Obama is moving forward DESPITE being stuck with the morass left to him by the Bushnosmarts and his Warmongers (was that a rock-n'-roll band?) which cast a pall of despair over the world. And dig into the recent news for the latest irrational nonsense from Sarah Palin -- another nut-case. There is still hope that the bushies will face a World Tribunal for mass-murder. Ramirez, "...a 2 hour television extravaganza has been booked for later this year." YES, what is not spoken here, is that OBAMA will be leading the charge on this revealing disclosure. Peace ...
