Regarding allegies, hay fever, etc. When I had these, years ago, my condition improved considerably when I eliminated dairy, wheat and sugar, at least for the time/season in which I was afflicted.

hey edward,
do you know how to go about remedy-ing pressure in the sinus cavity?
for a certain duration of summer when i lay down,
my sinus's immedietly close and i cant reath through my nose very well, i have to breath through my mouth and that dries my throat up.

I once heard a doctor say that Hay fever is an allergy to polen from weeds. All kind of weeds sprout out of nowhere especially in places where the health of the environment/soil has been compremised and sprayed endlessly with pesticides/herbicides; Maybe it's nature's way of protecting itself? weeds are not only found on farms and on the sides of the roads but also in the gardens in the suburbs we live in but what to do I am not sure; here in aust. Eucalyptus oil has countless applications from health to cleaning and when the kids were sick I used a vaporizer with the Euca. oil and that seemed to clear the nasal passages, and of course never ever consume any dairy produce. |

Michael, even when I was very Strict Veggie, many decades back, I had Hay
Fever: alas, the products you mentioned and others, were also eliminated from
my eating diet. So, eliminating those products did not benefit me in the
positive, alas. Perhaps it may benefit..others?
Melli, yes...Pollen indeed play a great part here, with this allergy. But we
have to keep in mind, that there are all sorts of Pollen.
The most common pollen which most humans react allergic to are those which play part in the so-called: Birds and the Bees...scenario. Which are the Pollens
that drift into the air to find a mate flower(type) to generate a new
generation of (the) flowers. So, that makes the Pollen(Male/+) and the
Flower...to be sought, the Female(-), in this Natural processing of Nature...
fuse with one and other.
Peter, I have no idea how I can remedy your sinus cavity...with Accupressure. I
never did come around...finding that in the Accupressure books.
But I had that same problem as you mentioned, too. It is called 'Polyp or
Polypus'...in scientific terms. It's cause is a 'swelling' within some tissue/
part within the nose cavity, and if One has a very stubborn polyp, than this
can be 'cut' away clinically. So, me the same, when I lay in bed...I had to
find the correct position to lay...so that I could breath.
Now, that I use the inhaler spray, I do not have this problem anymore.
Thus, I am now dependent on the mentioned, every year. It is a great help.
The product is called - Belcometason Nevel -. You can try the product, perhaps?
I would advise anyone to use it.

Hi Peter and all,
Have recently tried an off the shelf product for sinus pain. Since is was dull and without many symptoms except headache, it came on slow and this product worked well; two tablets dissolved under the tongue every two hours.
The product by Boiron contained the homeopathic medicine containing the active ingredients:
Belladona 3X HPUS relieves sinus pain and stuffy nose
Sanguinaria 3X HPUS(relieves sinus pain with runny nose
Spigella anthelmia 3X HPUS relieves sinus pain with post nasal drip.
HPUS indicate that these ingredients are officially included in the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia of the United States.
Some people are allergic to dust and dander and call it Hayfever as well. But you're right Milli, Hayfever is due in part to pollens and spores.
There are also allergies to Alcohol and cigarettes as well.
