To the German readers: Does anyone have the page number (and verses) from the Arahat Athersata passages where it talked about the secret sciences and how they are our birthright and how they will be kept from us until the death of the pope, and only be released after there are no more popes, and how the secret sciences would eliminate war and hunger if the people knew about them? I can't find the verses... Salome Corey OM 32:2171 Die unschätzbarsten Schätze sind die Wahrheit, das Wissen, die Liebe und die Logik in Weisheit. Hi Corey.... Do not know, if this can help, but....here is some short info. 49 Questions With Answers Regarding Life And The Human Condition: From the Billy Meier Contacts 1986/1992/1996/1997/2000; 44 pages, digest format; introduction by FIGU The Core Group of 49; 8. Is there such a thing as 'secret sciences' for the initiated--and why? I did not mention the questions 1-7 and after 8, ok? Perhaps, you can get ahold of the answers via above mentioned? Edward. |

Corey you would be a good person to ask about this but would appreciate a reply from anyone; I just received the first spirit lessons (Geisteslehre) and need to find the best book/dictionary to translate them from German to English. I know some of them are a little off in their exactness, and these need to be exactly translated,so any help would be appreciated with a specific recomendation of something that they have used before. Thanks |

Hi Blake, For hard copy dictionaries I use Collins 4th ed. German/English Dictionary (paperback): http://www.amazon.com/Collins-Concise-Dictionary-HarperCollins-Dictionaries/dp/0061141836/ref=sr_1_5?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1372465472&sr=1-5&keywords=collins+german+dictionary and Langenscheidt's Pocket German/English dictionary: http://www.amazon.com/Langenscheidt-Pocket-Dictionary-Dictionaries-English/dp/346898135X/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1372465602&sr=1-2&keywords=langenscheidt+german+english+dictionary and for online dictionaries I use: http://dict.tu-chemnitz.de/ http://dictionary.reverso.net/german-english/ It's hard to get an exact translation using any dictionary which is why I use them for verbs and nouns that the FIGU dictionary does not contain only. Billy has said dictionaries do not contain the accurate words necessary for the spiritual teaching words. One example for this is the word "Regung" which the FIGU dictionary translates into "impulsation" and the Collins translates into "motion; (Gefühl) feeling, impulse" so it is close (impulse) but not exactly what FIGU condones. Due to the inadequacy of the English language, most Dictionaries will offer several meanings for a word and you have to use sentence context to try and get close. An example for this is the German word "ewig" which is listed in the Langenscheidt's as "eternal; constant, endless, forever", depending on whether it is an adjective or adverb. If you find that you have trouble with the spirit lessons you could get some of these free pamphlets, and start translating in smaller doses for a little while. These little gems have some good widom inside them: https://figu.org/shop/suche?f%5B0%5D=field_kategorie%3A313 I know Gaiaguys use many types of dictionaries for their translations maybe they could post some ideas if they are still monitoring the forums, or maybe Patm or Jacob or some of the other German readers will post ideas. Finding the right dictionary is a very personal thing, up to each individual in their learning/reading/translation process. I hope I answered your question, good luck on your translation endeavors. Hi Blake, The main thing is to use more than one dictionary. I agree with Patm, the best one would be the figu dict, and then there are the ones Corey listed, plus the dict.cc and one you can download to your computer and use when the internet is down: http://quickdic.org/index_e.html Salome, Vibka |

http://www.lexilogos.com/english/german_dictionary.htm For online dictionaries, none beats the above link which provides access to 15 online dictionaries. Of course, the FIGU dictionary as Pat mentions, should be given highest priority if it has the word one is looking for. Salome, Bruce

Many thanks, the responses I got from all of you and links are greatly appreciated. It's hard to have some new information like that at you fingertips and not be able to access it. So I will get to work and do the best in can,and just re-read them after I have more of the German language down. |

Hello Kiwiseeker (Charles) and Fisher, I'm moving to NZ next week to Wellington. Would like to connect with you to study and discuss the Meier material. Your truthseeker email from post 82 doesn't work any more. Please contact me at raft3plus at gmail, that would be groovy. Dirk |

Blake; I read about Benjamin's method of translating , that he runs the entire script through several different translator programs ( some online and others advanced commercial programs), and uses them to find the variances in terms , before looking up specific words and phrases . I assume he has some level of German knowledge as well . Does anyone know if he is still actively translating ? |

Mark, Good to hear from you,it's been a while since we met up,give me a shout sometime. Yes,he is still translating.I know this because he is doing a little side project for Dave Bax,approved by Christian. That is how I got the first few chapters of the new Talmud. But I also heard that he is on hiatus for a while because of some personal reasons,if I'm not mistaken. So I'm not sure if he does any for FIGU or F.O.M. or wherever. But yea I would like to figure out how he does that, since I am getting a bunch of new stuff( like the spirit lessons and other) that I have to translate myself, frustrating to say the least. |

I finally found it! The information I was looking for regarding secret sciences is NOT in Arahat Athersata, it is in the Canadian Landesgruppe translation of the Psyche pages 117 (German) and 118 (English). Original German Die Psyche page 59. OM 32:2171 Die unschätzbarsten Schätze sind die Wahrheit, das Wissen, die Liebe und die Logik in Weisheit. I walk in mountain by barefoot everyday for about 2 hours. According to Billy's book,it is ok even in winter. I am doubt whether walking with barefoot even in winter might be good or bad. Because in my thought I could be influenced by coldness on earth into body. |

Walking barefoot in the cold is fine as long as it is comfortable. Walking barefoot in the snow... might best be quick! It is hard to get in touch with the vibe of the Earth through frozen feet. Kinda defeats the purpose. Besides, you need your feet to actually do the walking. Life

Hi All I was wondering if there are any members here who are proficient with computers who may be able to assist. I am trying to make up a complete index of every topic and subject covered by Billy and the Plejaren in whatever is available in English. Whether it's the contact reports, the bulletins, the special bulletins, Asket's Acquaintanceship, FIGU open letter, spiritual teachings, prophecies and predictions, interviews with Billy Meier and others, I would like to put everything into a comprehensive and complete single file with an index which includes hyperlinks of the specific section of the exact article or contact notes. I would like to be able to just press any topical heading in hyperlink form and get straight to the specific section of the contact note or article similar to the search function of the Microsoft internet explorer but from a single compiled file instead of having to open each and every file to do so. Is there a way to do it on either microsoft excel or word and PDF? Any advice would be much appreciated. cheers Matt lee |

Hi All Further to my request for assistance if possible, with it I would like to achieve a fast and furious ability to retrieve the right information at the tip of a hat. Meaning that I would like to compile every topical and subject heading ever discussed by Billy and the Plejaren and from a couple of mouse clicks be able to retrieve the exact section of the specific contact note or article from a single source within a word, PDF or excel program. I would also like for the A-Z listings to also include the correct number of the contact note or article and be made searchable via a hyperlink where it also includes all topical listing for that particular contact note or article plus all related contact notes that cover the same subject and topic. As much as I've gained enormous benefit through David Chance's incredible compilation of topical listing and bibliography, I would like to go a bit further and actually hyperlink every topical and subject headline through an A to Z listing and have the ability to go straight to the CN or article concerned with a single click of a mouse button. If there is anyway that you guys are able to advise or give pointers it would be much appreciated. If I can manage to complete it sometime this year, I would also love to be able to share it with everyone here as I realise that reading all these precious contact notes and articles are one thing but being able to retrieve and reference it is another. I am also guilty of this but I realised that not many people actually bother to check out the links referenced or if they do, they take a quick cursory glance at it and not think twice about it which would leave one to think that its better to not reference the particular section of the contact notes with what one is talking about at all but rather leave it up to the reader for the sake of his own learning to search for it himself if he is interested enough. But then this brings up a gaping hole of uncertainty where if you don't reference what Billy has talked about but go from memory alone, that memory may be subject to error which may get passed off as if Billy had spoken about it which in the long run if people now and in the future bother to actually retrieve past posts on this forum, may get confused as to linger in doubt about what the heck the post without reference was actually talking about. So now I am clearly of the view that it is better to accurately reference and provide the right contact note number or article concerned with what one is talking about than not doing it at all This makes sense and it is a sensible approach to dealing with Billy's information Cheers Matt lee |

Hey Learningtruth, This has been helpful for me from the Creational Truth website: excerpt from Die Art zu Leben by 'Billy' Eduard Albert Meier English translation from the original German text by Jacob Smits I) At first the human must seek the truth, find it, gain knowledge from it and expand on it. Als erstes muss der Mensch die Wahrheit suchen und finden und daraus das Wissen lernen und erweitern. II) As second step the human must correct his thoughts in a controlling manner and align them with the truth of his gained knowledge. Als zweites muss der Mensch seine Gedanken kontollierend korrigieren und auf die Wahrheit seines erlangten Wissens ausrichten. III) As third step the human must, through his knowledge and his thoughts, create his inner harmony. Als drittes muss der Mensch durch sein Wissen und durch seine Gedanken seine innere Harmonie erschaffen. IV) As fourth step the human must, based on his inner harmony, correct, straighten out, form and harmonise his own character. Als viertes muss der Mensch aus seiner inneren Harmonie hervorgehend seine eigene Persönlichkeit korrigieren, orden, formen, und harmonisieren. V) As fifth step the human must correct, straighten out, form and harmonise his direct environment, his family life and relatives' life. Als fünftes muss der Mensch seine direkte Umgebung, sein Familien- und Verwandtschaftleben korrigieren, ordnen, formen und harmonisieren. VI) As sixth step the human must correct, straighten out, form and harmonise his near environment of friends, mates and acquaintances. Als sechstes muss der Mensch seine nähere Umwelt der Freunde, Kameraden und Bekannten korrigieren, orden, formen, und harmonisieren. VII) As seventh step the human is then capable to correct, to straighten out, to form, to harmonise and to lead a group of humans, the mass of humanity, the state and the world in a wise, humane and creational-just and law-like way. Als siebentes ist der Mensch dann fähig, eine Gruppe Menschen, die Masse Menschheit, den Staat und die Welt zu korrigieren, zu ordnen, zu formen zu harmonisieren und zu führen in weisheitlicher, menschengerechter und schöpfungsgerecht-gesetzmässiger Form. Cheers! Anthony |
