Thank you Creation for all that you have given.

Thank you Creation for all of your kindness

Thank you Creation for all that you have endured

Thank you Creation for all that you have shared.

Thank you Creation for all the stars, planets, and galaxies that shine in the night’s sky.

Thank you Creation for the prophets you have sent to instruct man in the lessons of the spirit.

Thank you Creation.

The Law

Men think that they can pray away the terrors that befall them
when they're the ones who birthed the pains denying truth that galled them
but hungry for what never fills their greedy need to conquer
they put their trust in misplaced lust instead of love and honor

And the law that they have broken
it's older than their gods, their saints and their religions
it's the law behind the law and it renders all decisions
it's the law it's the law don't go against its edicts
it's the law it's the law don't try to contravene it

Now there's a man who would be king devoid of any wisdom
he'll sacrifice his neighbors' kin to perpetuate the system
such cowards as cling unto him bring doom upon their peoples
and they're the first to show their worst when the fire's in their steeples

And the law that they have broken
it's older than their gods, their saints and their religions
it's the law behind the law and it renders all decisions
it's the law it's the law don't go against its edicts
it's the law it's the law don't try to contravene it

It's the law it's the law some say it must be dumb
but if you would not face its wrath don't push the pendulum
it's the law it's the law and it invites deliberation
it's the law it's the law and its mother was Creation

Hello, I dont know if this is the right cathegory, but anyway:

What is wrong with music like rock, heavy, and metal? I remember reading in the contact-notes or "and yet they fly" that no musicians on Erra produced "ear-piercing sounds/music" or something. Ive heard such since I was about 14 years old, and still do. I find it much more musical and harmonic than classical music. Does it damage the psyche in some way? I find the three musical pieces the Plejarens said resembled their music very beatifull though. Moderators?

hey Dplotmach,
Can you tell me the names of the three musical pieces the Plejarens said resembled their music? I want to here them. I listen to rock too. I love Radiohead... there music as well as words have meaning and substance... unlike most popular/mainstream rock these days.

Fond regards,
Rubaiyat

hi Rubaiyat

i thought nobody really cared about my drawings so i stopped posting them, but if at least you like them, then i´ll make a new one and i´ll post it in a pair of weeks OK???

(what do you prefer? color or black and white???)

...............................................

the names of three musical pieces that are somehow similar to plejaren music are: The ride of the Valkyries, Nabuco and the Bolero of Ravel (they are very famous and easy to find)

Dplot

not all rock / heavy metal music is nocive for health (after all fire and other natural manifestations that can be very destructive also have their own beauty) , but there are also a lot of bands who only make noise and sing about death and destruction etc

i think that is the kind of music that damages the psyche (death metal etc/ you just have to see the cover of any Canibal Corpse CD to see that they are really sick and/or confused)

that some music sounds powerful and loud it doesn´t mean that it isn´t harmonious, (if you want to know what i mean, listen to some Joe Satriani songs like "Crushing day" (to me it sounds like music from "another world") or even to some Metallica songs like "Orion" (after a little break it begins to sound like classical music)

(if anybody wants more musical recomendations or simply talk write me: bonscott01@yahoo.com.mx)

take care

Hello Memmo:-)

I love your Artwork, I prefer black (i know you were asking Rubiayat) but it's nice to see a good balance within and between pieces of artwork. Balance in terms of having proportional objects in an aestheticly pleasing setup and balance in terms of attractive color contrasts, so I like black but white is good with it's complementary colors, just as all colors are. I used to draw/paint but can still recognize nice work when I see it. I recently attended the Columbus Art festival here Ohio (U.S.), it's an annual thing where every kind of creativism is put on display with a chance to purchase. I wanted to buy but I couldn't even if I wanted to, mainly because I couldn't choose!
Nice work!! I'd love to see more. Oh by the way what do you use.. pastels, colored pencils or ...?

Salome,
Tim

hi Tim

i use a mix of many things, but i particularly like color pencils and black ink,

i like to draw using geometric figures, because i feel that there is something really mysterious about them. . . (obviously there is a good reason why some ETs "draw" some crop cirlces and why the symbols from spiritual telepathy are geometrical)

i also like to use somekind of strange "caligraphy" that is like a mix of chinese, japanese, arabic, and the kind of ET letters that appear on the screens in Sci Fi movies like Star Wars, etc

what i try to express with it is something that cannot be said with words, and that comes from the unconscious. . .

geometric figures can be very simple but at the same time they can be very complex depending on how you look at them, in one simple small drawing there can be many hidden things,

for example take a good look to the drawing i posted in June 28 2004, to me it has to do with the macrocosmos and the microcosmos, the order and the chaos, the balance between positive and negative etc etc

if you only look at the surface then you will find nothing interesting (like if you look at a rock or a cloud), but if you go further, then maybe you can begin to "see" some things. . .

geometric figures have a lot to do with the way we are, our body, our perception, the laws of creation and much more, but since i dont want to bore anybody i think its enough for today,

take care

Hi Mem00 and Diplotmach ;

I can only comment from my own experience and perspective , being a musician of the planet Earth .
The Plejaren would be made uncomfortable by our rock music ,I gather , because they are not used to it , and the vibrations from it would be coarse to them . Of course there is much easy , smooth music among the many recordings , and maybe the Plejaren haven't heard all of it .

Evidently their predominant form of music is of a "classical" type , and we have an extreme variation of styles here . Of course , earth is a media driven place , and Erra is not at all . People there are not in variance of each other , so topics of conflict and aggression wouldn't be useful to them in their pastime arts . Here , entertainment defines people ( wrongly ,in my opinion) and serves to further separate them .

We like what we like , and it's probably just as important to our development as thinkers and the evolution of our other facets to continue to do so . It either makes you feel good or not .
Certain rock songs are like fuel to me and make me feel energetic , and when I play them , it's a feeling like an athelete gets from sport .

At other times when I hear some very popular new music, I can't really see what is so good about it , but one really can't make judgements about taste ; art and music are not clearly defined in terms of quality and validity because of the effect they have on the people who enjoy them . It's kind of like avocados ; they were judged by the Arahat Athersata as being pig food ; and in Spain it was the same with corn , at least in the 1960's when I lived there (by Spanish farmers). There were no dishes with corn as I recall .
"My people call it maize."

hi mark (hey where do you live now???)

to me rock music is like volcanic eruptions, they are the natural result of many factors and with out them the planet would explode,

as i see it, this kind of music is the result of stress, pollution, overpopulation, religions and their false morality, etc

it is a way of not becoming completely insane, it is a catharsis, a return to yourself, it is anger but not in a degenarate way, but like when a slave fights for freedom, it is like shouting at the face of all those liars:
get out of here m...f...!!!
im a free man and i dont need your f... s...!!!

at least i can say from my own experience that it helped me a lot to survive in this sick world, and to discover again that life is really beautiful and it is great to be alive!!!

.................

i agree with you, i think plejarens may not like this music, but it is something logical, after all: what is the point in being a "rebel" if there is nothing to rebel against????

take care

Hahaha! LOL ....You have a great way of expressing , you probably wave your hands around when you type . I live in Austin , Texas .

Yeah , false morality is probably the best catalyst for rock and roll and all of the rambunctious music here on Earth .
It's just a natural inclination to react against hypocrisy and the complete denial of natural feelings .
In a spiritual context , maybe some of it goes too far , but in response to the overly inhibiting religious mindset , which acts as a filter against any sincere enjoyment of life , it seems to balance out the attitudes for people that just "won't get fooled again" .

Music has always served people of all eras as personal and tribal anthems . For me it's my favorite canvas of imagination .

hi

first, the size of you image must be less than 80 kb (the limit used to be 100 kb but the last time i posted it didn´t acepted more than 80)

then, your image should be BIG (in pixels/cm/inches) because the forum doesn´t have any tool (ant least not that i know) to change the size of the pics (for example the last pic i posted is 870 x 630 pixels / or 7.37x 5.33 cm which is something like 25% of the original size)

(you can change the size of your pic using many programs (starting with the one with which you scan)

you should try many different configurations until you find an equilibrium between quality, size (in kb) and size (in pixels/cm/inches)

and at least, you should not forget that for uploading attachments you should be first in the preview or it will not appear

(and that way you will be able to see the size your pic will have in the forum before you finally post it)

i hope this helps

take care

in the motion of matter, thru the oceans i patter, around the whirlpools of lies and the tidal wave of ignorance,i set my coarse on the currents of logic and using my spirit to utilise my pocket of self ,within the fronts of the storm ideas can be born which energy you may have seen, which direction of destuction can surely be gleened, rather like a prphecy it can possbly be cleaned,to the knowledge i proceed of the oasis i see, thru the fog of decit i find my own feet, paddling along ,already to keep a pace or rythum, or beat, to my dis-be-leaf,so if i decieifer the ocean of chatter from which i conceive the motions that matter......
greetings all nice to see everyone so busy, just wanted to weigh in,peace b and rave on

Hello Figu Friends,

I love to read Sufi Poems.
Then I share some of them with you all out there so you can understand a little bit of myself's Inner Spirit. ;-)

Enjoy and Saalam!!

P.S. Try to take a look on this posting online at FIGU's Discussion Board to enjoy the images.
here General Area » Non-FIGU Related » Poetry, Music, and Art. Enjoy it :-)

Celebrating Creational Pulsation
Sufi Poems by Jalaluddin Rumi
Though we seem to be sleeping,
there is an inner wakefulness
that directs the dream, and
that will eventually startle us back
to the truth of who we are.

Planet Earth's Eye
Jshwsh's Eye'...Allah Hoo!!!

Spirit of Creation
The Universe

What if someone said to an embryo in the womb,
“Outside of your world of black nothing
is a miraculously ordered universe;
a vast Earth covered with tasty food;
mountains, oceans and plains,
fragrant orchards and fields full of crops;
a luminous sky beyond your reach,
with a sun, moonbeams, and uncountable stars;
and there are winds from south, north and west,
and gardens replete with sweet flowers
like a banquet at a wedding feast.

The wonders of this world are beyond description.
What are you doing living in a dark prison,
Drinking blood through that narrow tube?”
But the womb- world is all an embryo knows
And it would not be particularly impressed
By such amazing tales, saying dismissively:
“You’re crazy. That is all a deluded fantasy.”

One day you will look back and laugh at yourself.
You’ll say, “ I can’t believe I was so asleep!
How did I ever forget the truth?
How ridiculous to believe that sadness and sickness
Are anything other than bad dreams.”

- Rumi

****
The Beauty of the Heart

The beauty of the heart
is the lasting beauty:
its lips give to drink
of the water of life.
Truly it is the water,
that which pours,
and the one who drinks.
All three become one when
your talisman is shattered.
That oneness you can't know
by reasoning.

From: Mathnawi II, 716-718

- Rumi

Earth
My Burning Heart

My heart is burning with love
All can see this flame
My heart is pulsing with passion
like waves on an ocean

my friends have become strangers
and I’m surrounded by enemies
But I’m free as the wind
no longer hurt by those who reproach me

I’m at home wherever I am
And in the room of lovers
I can see with closed eyes
the beauty that dances

Behind the veils
intoxicated with love
I too dance the rhythm
of this moving world

I have lost my senses
in my world of lovers

-Rumi

Sufi Dance Allah Hoo
Behind the Scenes

Is it your face
that adorns the garden?
Is it your fragrance
that intoxicates this garden?
Is it your spirit
that has made this brook
a rive of wine?

Hundreds have looked for you
and died searching
in this garden
where you hide behind the scenes.

But this pain is not for those
who come as lovers.
You are easy to find here.
You are in the breeze
and in this rive of wine.

This is the age of Truth
That which is unknown becomes known
That which is unseen becomes seen
That which is cloudy becomes clear
That which is untruth is burnt into oblivion
That which is illusion crumbles
What has been appearance changes to its true representative form
The Age of Aquarius brings the real into being
The Age of Truth brings the true facts of Creation into focus
The Creation has purpose and direction
The Creation has the destiny of creating perfection
The Creation is everlasting existing throughout all Great Times and beyond….
