Hi Jean Something I would like to share is that the Chinese are one of the experts in using herbs. They have well known documentations in the use of herbs in fighting sickness, Chinese herb medical practice is still going strong until these days. The Chinese philosophy in using herbs is to help to build up the natural recovering strength of the body hence killing the disease. Healing effect is slower but non-destructive to the body. The Western philosophy in using drug is to kill the disease directly hence is more responsive but sometime is destructive to the body. Hope this helps Regards Savio |

Hello JP, Yes, the Teachings have mentioned that herbs indeed are useful when taken is small amounts. Homeopathy has also been mentioned. Regards, Andrew |

Hi Andrew, It's nice to hear from you again, I hope you have been well! Where can Plejaran (etc.) info on herbs be found? And/or as much detail as you can provide...? Any links? There is much info, as Savio mentions, from the orient, on herbs such as Reishi (& assorted Ganoderma's), Shitaki, Foti, Gotu Kola etc. Both in a healing capacity & longivity etc. Are any of these of real benefit? There are also "north american" herbs as well. I am interested in corroborating or adding to my overall understanding on these and/or any other herbs as well. Any info whatsoever you can provide, would be greatly appreciated. Thanx, Love & Life, JP |

Hello Michael, Reference can be found in the 1994 FIGU Passive Member Meeting 'Minutes' (Protocol). To JP, All herbal information can be found in any good herb book available today. There are no specifics involving the Plejarans or mention thereof. Longevity, for example, would equal "Fo-Ti," (I assume that was the herb you mentioned above), as well as many others. Herbs, as JHWH Ptaah mentions, are beneficial to some degree (i.e., greater or lesser) when used in small amounts. Regards, Andrew Cossette |

Herbal healing is today and has been for eons, from North America, South America, Peru, India, China, Africa etc and therefore cannnot be called a 'Chinese' phenomena. And yes Westerm herbal treatment/medicine/prevention is today alive and well. For example the cancer cure, essiac, is made up of 3 North American herbs, given to 'us' by Canadian Ojibway herbalists in 1923, and one Chinese/Indian herb. You do NOT only have toxic allopathy available in the west, as you will realise after visiting the following site for a complete education... herbalhealer.com. For high tech info on individual herbs go to jimduke.com. Tom Turk |

To Andrew Cossette, Homeopathy book? I have found many of your comments helpful and interesting so I would like to ask your opinion about something. I bought some of the books you wrote about in Andrews bookclub and I found the one on reflexology to be good and the books about water etc with Victor Schauberger are amazing. You seem to have a lot of experiance and interest in health and nutrition. I am also interested in these subjects. In SemjaseBlock 15, Ptaah mentions that homeopathy works on an impulse basis and thereby in he confirms that it does work. I would like to know - how homeopathy works and how/if it can be possible that a weak dilution of a substance can be more effective than a stronger one. - the principles of homeopathy What I would like from you is to know if you can recommend a book that I can read and contemplate on. Just like in any subject there are more or less truthful books so maybe you can just point me in the direction of a more truthful one. I asked if FIGU could recommend any truthful books about homeopathy on the german Diskussions Forum and Hans Georg Lanzendorfer said something like: “We occupy ourselves too little with this subject. Therefore we can not give any recommendations regarding books.” http://forum.figu.org/de/messages/17/1412.html#POST4121 Thankyou and Salome, Claes PS if someone else feels drawn to share their opinion on this subject I would appreciate that also. |

Homeopathy is the treatment of an ailment by increasing the symptoms in some way, in an effort to make the body build up a greater tolerance for it. Once the homeopathic treatment is stopped, the body bounces back better than if the treatment were not used. That's my understanding of it. regards, Tim

About Homeopathy. Jacobjn, what do you know about homeopathy? I asked Andrew Cossette above but he seems to have left the forum. I would would like to read your opinion about: 1. How does homeopathy work, and how can it be possible that a very weak dilution of a substance can be more effective than a stronger one (like a normal medicine). 2. What happens in the body when we take a medicine (biologically/chemically)? (your explanations of the hormonecycles etc I found very interesting) I assume that one would have to eat as clean natural, unpolluted, unprocessed food with as little additives as possible to get the best effect. 3. What happens in the consciousness when a medicine is taken? It seems to me that in curing the body it is always Mind over Matter. The Mind (Consciousness) can heal the body but the body can not heal the Mind. (compare placebo effect etc) I am not sure if Mind and consciousness has the same meaning. 4. Is it because homeopathy only has a impulse effect that it is so hard to detect with the physical senses, or is it because there are so many other things going on in the body (like digestion, stress, muscle ache etc) that distract us. Or perhaps these impulse effects can be detected with the 6th and 7th senses. Please read my post above before answering. thankyou very much. Claes

Claes, I am very sorry for the late response, I will check the forum more consistently. 1. I honestly know too little about homeopathy, but your question has sparked me to dig in to the subject matter, I simply know too little about the topic and I can't give you a intelligent answer. 2. This depends on the type of medicine, there a many types, let me explain. Most medicines are focussed on getting the body in it's normal rythme again, like digestion, or body temprature when there is a fever; The peniciline anti-biotic is famous for its fever surpressing qualities, often a +100 F / 42C Fever will kill a person. Several types of medications: A. Genetic medicines: For example, in the case of cystic fibrosis there a use of geneticly engineered adeno-virus (common-cold) which carries a healthy gene that is inserted by the adeno-virus in to the lungs of a patient with Cystic Fribrosis. A virus that normally would cause a common-cold is enigineered to replace the defective gene that is responsible for causing cystic fibrosis is found on chromosome 7. Although this isnt a longterm solution since those repaired cells are short lived they are replaced soon with new defective cells from the stem-cells in the lungs. So with this kind of therapy there is a actual change in the genetic make up of the human body B. Chemotherapy: This targets all fast dividing cells in the human body, cancer are usually uncontrolled rouge cells that multiple fast, hair, skin, etc. basicly the early forms of chemotherapy are concentrated on killing as much cancer cells as possible, unfortunally the healthy fast-dividing cells in the human body are killed too, this is basicly poisoning the patient in the hope the cancer will die sooner then the patient. New forms of Chemotherapy are focused on the abnormal cell-metabolism of the cancerous cells, in which new types of Chemotherapy interfere in this abnormal cell-metabolism in order to kill the cancer and let the healthy cells live on. C. Anti-viral medicines: For Example, against AIDS there are several treatments in order to combat the disease and pro-long the relative healty life of a patient. Anti-RNA-viral drugs block several enzymes in the lifecycle of a AIDS-Virus, blocking it from infecting T-cells. AZT, on of the first drugs that fights AIDS blocks the enzyme retrovir-transcriptase, which is a enzyme which plays an essential part in the RNA-polymerase cycle (which generates new strands of viral RNA, when inside the T-Cell, when blocked the virus is inhibited in replicating itself and spreading itself. An RNA-Virus is the opposite of a DNA-Virus, a RNA-Virus uses RNA as its matrix to create a new strand of genetic material using DNA. DNA = Desoxyribo Nucleic Acid; RNA = Ribonucleic Nucleic Acid; both use the same 4 Nucleotides: Adenine, Cytosine, Thymine, Guanine and in the case of RNA, Uracil is used too. 3. Depends totally on the medicine / substance when a medicine alters the chemical / hormonal balance of the Brain, it can alter perception, speech, memory; some medicines alter the bodychemistry and are able to influence indirectly the consciousness by means of their unfluence on the body. Know legal and illegal subtances which alter the material consciousnes; sugar, chocolate, aspirine, THC, MDMA, ethyl-alcohol, LSD and Mescaline, Lithium, etc, etc. You are totally right, food with the lowest possible poisons and heavy metals will have the least negative impact on your body and consciousnes, unfortunally, those foods are expensive and hard to find compared to normal foods. 4. What is needed that the 7 senses are used properly, since: 1. Vision, 2. Hearing, 3. Feeling, 4. Taste, 5. Smell, 6. Sensing(Psyche), 7. Receiving (Material Consciousnes, Material Sub-consciousnes, Spirit-evolutive Consciousnes, Gemued); by means of concentration and meditation practice you will be able to utilize all your senses much better and be able to pickup internal impulses. I hope this helps, feel free to ask anytime.

FYI in regards to the last couple of posts: Fever is a natural defense of the body that it uses to kill the offending bacteria, etc. in the body. It is therefore recommended that a fever not be medicated unless it becomes so high that it endangers the person with the fever. It is common for doctors to tell parents NOT to give their sick children fever reducing medication until the fever reaches/passes 101 degrees Farenheit. Temperatures up to here a not considered dangerous to the average person/child, but higher temperatures can damage the brain. Thomas |

Basic information on homeopathic medicine for those interested: http://www.homeopathic.com/?se=o http://www.homeopathic.org/ http://www.abchomeopathy.com/ I've been using homeopathy and herbs for years and they are both very effective. Herbs can have greater negative side effects when the dosage is too large, but sometimes they are the best choice because they can be more potent than homeopathic remedies. Homeopathic remedies are very effective for acute infections. While herbs are better for a strong flu or parasitic infections.

Homeopathy, it is my understanding... is related to the chemical/ structure more importantly the electron valence of the chemical structure... that causes the symptom or disease you are trying to eradicate. For example: 1.) Hay fever with runny eyes... Onions cause runny eyes because a certain organic chemical irritates them and causes the body to react accordingly. The homeopathic prescription (if I remember correctly) is written... Onion 6C. This is from memory and only for example... The homeopathic remedy is to place chopped onions in a sterile container (mason jar) in the sun for a period of time... When the onions have turned dark (oxyidized) and the liquid has exuded the liquid is then reduced, similar to Jonas Salk's method of creating a "vaccine" which was derived from common methods used in homeopathy. (I.E. Polio vaccine...) The liquid is diluted to a 6C formula. Each C equals 1 milliliter diluted into 100 mls of distilled and deionized water. The idea is to create a partial molecule that is very attractive in the the herbal formula (vaccine) so the whole molecules within the body are attracted via molecular valence and exuded. So a six C forumula would be to take one milliliter from the last 1C mixture and put into another 100mls which would now be a 2C formula. Another milliliter from the 2C sol'n into 100ml more would be a 3C etc... Each herb has a different C formula depending on the molecular size, positioning and bonding within the target molecule. So our onion mixture would be 6C. Six dilutions taking one milliliter from each successive solution six times. This homeopathic remedy... when taken under the tongue... would reduce tearing and runny eyes by taking the organic molecules causing this symptom to leave the body. This would happen as the partial molecules in the 6C solution would be more electrically attractive and fitting than the body's valence electrons and cause the unwanted chemicals, which cause runny eyes, to leave the body via the urinary tract. Jonas Salk used this very same formula to take actual polio virus material and dilute it several times to make an effective vaccination which pretty much eradicated polio from several "civilized" countries... In viral vaccinations it is necessary to dilute the actual virus many many times in order to get partial molecules small enough to attach to the polio viruses living within the infected person's body. Hi Rarena.... Well, very interesting detailed information, I would like to say! Well, speaking of 'Hay Fever': I have Chronicle 'Hay Fever', and have to obtain every year, about now, and through the summer, a prescription medication - Inhaler -. I have tried everything in the past from Shots, Pills(conventional as even Homeopathy) and so forth, and now the only medication that helps is the Inhaler. So, I have to obtain it this week or within a couple of weeks to stop my Eyes from running, my Nose from running, and my Nose from sneezing...and the grand headaches it also brings forth. So, I am fortunate, that my Head is not running off my shoulders, yet... I have even tried to sleep with 2 sliced pieces of onions on both sides of my bed tables, which is suppose to work, but it only clears my sinuses....while sleeping; so, this does give me a restful night. So, now, I still have the problem every year. Can just not get rid of the Hay Fever; the inhaler(just pharmacy stuff) does help, but slows ya down. So, it is powerful medicine: which does work, but will of course NOT heal me from the Hay Fever, alas. Can anyone related with me? To bad I could not get my finances rounded out some decades ago: would have been a 'Homeopathic Medicine man/Doctor' by now! Than, I would/could at least...cure myself! So, I only know a bit 'standard' stuff, that's all. From my own home studies, from books...etc. But, it's been awhile...now. Edward. |

Hi Edward and Randy ; I experience allergy symptoms in the winter , and have found two supplements which I believe are effective to counteract ; Oregano and Quercitin . Oregano is known as an astringent / antibiotic and Quercitin comes from rutin , a source of vitamin c . Additional actions to take are changing your air filters in your AC / Heating unit often ( and using a high grade ) .Taking a fast regularly will allow nutrients to be absorbed easily , protecting the cells with antioxidants .The hardest thing for me is to police the area for dust , a constant battle . I surrender . MC Mark Campbell

Hi Randy I have been a homoeopath for going on 10 years now, and your explanation of how it works, although interesting :-) I must say is unique in that I have not heard it described that way. No-one knows how it exactly works, although theories abound --- Homoeopaths themseleves suffer from infighting over the topic, and also about the method prescribing, which as with other things, is done differently all over the globe. As this is not a homoeopathic forum, it is not the place to go into too much detail about how it works etc... but I must say, that one of the things I was hoping to obtain from studying the Meier material, was more of an understanding of how it works, plus how illness is generated and removed. So far, I have come across some interesting things in this area, but not enough to make a fanfare about at this time. I work as a psychologist and a homoeopath, and also use herbs and clinical nutrition and even specialised bodywork as part of my offerings when appropriate. As with anything, one's understanding of these things is only relevant to one's base knowledge and understanding of that knowledge. Homoeopathy has done some amazing things, in my own practice and in many around the world. I do not know how much of its results can be attributed to the correct/incorrect remedy chosen, the potency of the remedy, the method of taking the remedy, the compliance of the patient, the influence of other variables that enhance or obstruct, or even to the placebo affect. We could argue until we are blue in the face on these issues. However, all I can say is that I have seen it work amazingly and simply, and I have seen it do nothing. I have formed my opinions on this, but this is not the place to go into that either. Billy once made a comment on homoeopathy that it only works if there are still some molecules evident in the solution. More diluted than that, and it is placebo effect or some influence of the practitioner. This is a bold statement by him, and it has made me wonder about a few things, as my personal results don't quite fit into that description. I will have to ponder it further, as that is all I can do. AT this point, I must say though that I don't fully agree with that view. With regards to hayfever Edward, that is a notoriously difficult thing to treat. But it has been done, but seems to take working through up to 5 cycles to remove it. So, that is up to about 5 years to overcome it with systematic treatment. It is possible though. Re making of remedies. In homoeopathic circles, a remedy is not usually considered homoeopathic unless it is firstly diluted (in a standardised way, not quite as Randy described), then succussed (shaken vigorously a set number of times), and then chosen homoeopathically, ie., to be as close a 'similar' to the symptoms presenting (not the same as, which is called isotherapy), based on provings of those remedies to find out what symptoms they produce in groups of people. The symptoms produced in a 'proving' of a remedy, are recorded in what is known as a Repertory of symptoms, and it is one of the areas that causes alot of heated discussion on homoeopathy forums. Clinical evidence is slowly creeping into acceptance now, for choosing of a remedy. Remember, there are over 3000 remedies available now, and choosing the correct one is not that simple. Anyway, enough from me on this Robjna |

Hi Mark and Robjna... Mark...yes, Oregano is known to me, and I am not sure concerning Quercitin; may have heard of it, and it may just slipped my mind...at the moment. But in general, I make sure I have at least one small cup of vitamin C every day. And I do have to keep my home very 'dust free!' I am also allergic for dust particles and so forth. So, when it is Hay Fever season...I can have problems with Hay Fever as well as from other Allergic factors. Robjna...Yes, I have been treated with shots for...what was it - a 3-4-5 year treatment -, but with no results. So, that led me back to the 'inhaler', which is a great help, I must admit! Now, at least...I can walk in the park and walk on the grass....etc. Like Mark mentioned: I surrender... Thank you both for your input... Edward. |

Dear Edward, Mark, and Robjna... An Herb for Summer Hay fever:
Andrew Weil a Harvard trained medical doctor who has gone into the jungles to find what the native people of the area are using... suggests... a morning cup of stinging nettle tea, available in most health food stores for treating some forms of Hayfever... It does not sting you when dry or after it has been steeped. Harvard educated yet Dr Weil continues to search for other methods and continues his quest for the promotion of "integrated medicine". Using ALL the knowledge available rather than just what is accepted by a jury of his peers. http://www.drweil.com/drw/ecs/index.html Dr. Dean Edel an avant-garde optometrist mentions a method for relief of symptoms of winter or household allergies: sniffing warm water through the nose into the nasal membranes with two fingers in the morning. He claims the allergens such as animal danders, dust, pollens, molds, etc. settle on us while we sleep and we stir them up in the morning...breath them in early on causing us all manner of problems the rest of the day. For Pollen there are local web sites set up in your area where you can note (keep a journal or X on a calendar for bad days) a particularly bad day and find out which pollens you're allergic to then stay away from them. My step-father used to suffer every morning for years hacking and a hewing all day long until he found out he was allergic to Juniper (which was all around our house) and he also liked to drink Gin&Tonics... Gin being derived from Juniper. He laid off the Gin and Tonics, moved to a new place with no Juniper plants and his allergy symptoms stopped completely. No more empty nasal spray containers all over the house. Science is like any other study... it changes from day to day. People learn through college and some stop studying.... at the same rate anyway... and figure the information and procedures they previously learned are still absolutly correct when indeed the science may have changed quite frequently/radically depending on results found over all the world or in this case... worlds. The fortunate thing is... by being open minded, scientific and honest with the results found, by ourselves and the results of others as well, paying attention to "the party line" such as the "AMA", certain "in" circles of thought and other pharmaceutically "influenced" folks we can find the answer. Rather than being concerned with the bottom line ($$$$) being more important than a quick and inexpensive cure. To some... it's all about the Benjamins. Unfortunately treating the symptoms rather than curing the disease has become almost an art form... just like the curious result of finding many more viruses on your computer days before your virus protection software is due to expire. Hmmmmmm. Do you think there is some kind of correlation there? No one knows all the answers, and mistakes are bound to be made, leading to the correct answer, but bedside manner... being open mind to the laws of Creation and love... can cure just about anything or at least make the person more comfortable if nothing else. Certain things do remain the same, (I.E. some empirical formulas, solutions, etc)... but there is always the human factor... which we have been told by Billy & Co.... is far more complex and that many more factors are still not adressed, although we may indeed search vehemently our whole lives and not find the answer... using none other than thought and logic. There is a spiritual element of health as well... which is also very important to pay attention to. "Patch" Adams comes to mind... the whole idea of integral medicine does too... Whenever anyone attempts to tell you that something is impossible it may be because it is not possible for THAT person. Unless, of course you're trying to find the square root of minus one...That IS Impossible no matter what you do. The body's electricity is another often forgotten aspect of health. For example people who cannot ingest foods or take injections without their body reacting negatively can use these so called wet cell appliances (Barr.com), which use the body's magnetic/electrical field to deliver needed remedies and formulas for health bypassing the digestive and circulatory system... Billy & Co are telling us to remain true to the forces of Nature/Creation for all the answers. This may go against the grain of some schools of though or those who have studied other than the Truth (myself included)and that is sometimes a hard pill to swallow (please excuse the pun), discard the garbage information and go on... pushing for a total cure rather than just the relief of symptoms. If there's a will... |

Hi Rarena.... I do take into practice what Dr. Dean Edel mentioned: sniffing warm water through the nose into the nasal membranes.... That is interesting you mentioning your step-father being allergic to Juniper and which GIN is derived from. I...myself, can not drink all types of beer or liquor! Some of the mentioned can contain extracts that I react allergic too; which than makes my breathing hard, and have a suffocating effect on my body. Seems the plant/herbs or what even they contain, have effect on anyone/someone that is already allergic to other sources. So, at least, now I know...through your step-father's experience, that I am not the only one with this(allergic)reaction. One way I once managed to get rid of my Hay Fever was...going down to the Beach Coast! I was once so sick...that I went with a friend to the coast, and some 5-10 km from the coast I started to 'Smell' the Saltwater (and Sand)!! Which was of course a Revelation... And the closer we got to the coast and up to the beach...the greater the saltwater...enhanced itself through my sinuses! That really felt GREAT...I have to say. After about 15 minutes, my Hay Fever was all gone! I had no more Hay Fever troubles, that whole day!! So, this outing to the beach coast did help me very much. So, I guess it would be best for me to live at a beach area, instead of way inland, with much green, woods and the likes. Thus, the CURE for me is there, as you can notice. And thus, the above mentioned can also be of great help for others whom have Hay Fever; if they have the will to move from inland... to the coast area. Edward. |
