Hi Jacobus, Yes, that smile is obvious… it is probably how Ptaah looks when smiles. Another thing on my mind… is that, it is very important to explain that this is no more original drawing done by Ptaah. Even a small correction is a correction… More and more people join this forum every day, and this will be in future also. It is public, and everything can be downloaded, from texts to pictures. Just to avoid the confusion that may arise, will be nice to give the correct name for the file (in alternate text at least, for example “PtaahSmileByJacobus”). Our work will survive many years after we disappear from this material body, and this what we do today is only a history to some new born personalities in the near or distant future. Let them learn from correct “historical documents”. By the way, I did some comparison of original Ptaah’s self-portrait and Christian Krukowski’s work. It is amazing how accurate it is when you overlay two pictures in two different layers in Photoshop. This is it, fits perfectly, only Christian added some more details. His work was my starting point when I did the color version of Semjase’s and Quetzal’s portraits. It is the same now with the color portrait of Ptaah, which one is in progress. I will try to finish it as soon as possible, and will share it with all of you people here. Salome, Dejan | |||

Another time [30 Sept. 1983], while visiting Billy, I stayed overnight in the RV. In the middle of the night I heard steps in the court yard. I went out to investigate the sounds but I could sense something like a “Stay were you are!” command within me and I stopped walking. I could, however, peek around the corner and saw a tall, white-haired, bearded figure. Billy’s hair was still dark in those days, so it was not he. I felt an incredible joy in me that was truly special. The figure wore a white outfit and seemed to be surrounded by light. I felt such a warm glow! Hi Dyson ; It's worst than that , I'm sure . Still , when it comes to art , taste is all relative . If it were all that influencial on a person's mindset , then I would perhaps be on a different forum , one with goat's heads as a symbol , I don't know . But I am here instead , learning at a pace , separate from my muse-life , which is really about tones , and the music and words which I write are not about those things or people mentioned above . I still hold that the main conscious attitude held by those musicians was the chatting with of birds . The books that they read or glanced at , were just writing fodder at the time . As far as the Beatles Sgt.Pepper album cover , those things are put together by graphic artists and photographers , who just might shake hands with the over-thumb , as you've pointed out . The Beatles were songwriters , and not album cover designers . The blokes who carried their equipment might have been into any number of things , still , the musicians in that band were too busy to load up , or conceive album art . Deep Purple was named after the song " Deep Purple " . I like this lyric from DP : " See the blind man , shooting at the world , bullets flying , taking toll ." Tony, I'm surprised you haven't noticed, but very often the "goodie two shoes Catholics" and the likes are some of the most hypocritical and sorid people. Many Catholic Dioceses in America were run into bankruptcy because of financial judgments/settlements on account of the actions of their peophile priests. This is a publicly known fact. |
