there have been lots of posts suggesting that vedic astrology is very accurate and of course it is but for sure the Western can be equally so... William Lilly - a medieval practitioner of the branch known as 'horary' - was able to do very precise things such as find out exactly where a lost ship was in the english seas, apply charts for healing illnesses etc. and even one time...solve the riddle of the fish that was stolen from him by a local villager ie... find the thief and also recover his fish!

I'd don't think i fully endorse Billy's general view that astrology is not very useful because its innacurate here on earth - i have found it to be invaluable in terms of understanding life trends and the way events may unfold in life - typically following astrological patterns or at least operating in tandem with them.

By the way - am new to forum - has Billy given up answering questions?? When does he reply? if ever :-) - perhaps there other FIGU members who - being well on contact notes that are authorised to answer quesions too - to the best of their ability??

Hello Gib,

There is a Questions to Billy section which has just opened up, but be quick, because it fills up fast....perhaps in looking for answers to questions you might start searching this forum, because many questions have been asked before.

Hello,
I recently joined the Edgar Cayce association to research his readings and with my membership I received a free chart from them. I have to say it is very extensive at 27 pages and extremely accurate. I joined for 6 months for $23 and the chart itself was worth that. I did the one that Michael-d mentioned above at Astro.com and it was almost identical. Cayce said that modern astrology was 30 degress off, if that means anything to anyone. One of my traits was described at being scrupulously honest,,,I wonder if there is such a thing as too honest?

Hi Leann....

The Plejarans did mention, that out today's Astrology...if not perfect. But, it
IS....Usable.

I am familiar with the - Sleeping Prophet - Edgar Cayce, as he is also called,
though.

IF our today's Astrology is 30 degrees off: I do not know, myself. But, Cayce
may have Hit The Nail, on this one!?

So, our Astrology today, just 'Reflects' our Time and Evolution. Of course,
there are 'flaws', and these flaws will in time(Future To Be) be Perfected, as
we go along into our future time frame; as like-wise, mentioned by the
Plejarans.

Edward.

When first joining the Edgar Cayce foundation in 1981 it was to help a woman who was suffering from breast cancer.

Maybe three years ago they sent me a free report concerning my astrological makeup and by extrapolating astrological similaritys from different historical references determined my possible/probable past lives. When reading them, my inner intuition or possibly, my imagination... resonated with the specific information.

It is an interesting notion and the database of over 14,000 "readings" are consistant and many of the medicinal treatments are still in use today.

For those interested: Bruce Barr of Barr.com http://www.baar.com/index.shtml has many accurate remedies prescribed by Edgar Cayce to cure many "incurable" conditions and supplements to promote health of the human body. Meridian institute http://meridianinstitute.com/ also follows the Cayce remedies.

ok, been meaning to throw this in for a while...

have just seen this overall very engaging truth video called 'zeitgeist'

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=928518742089256264

and it threw me back to a book i read some years ago - called -'the christ conspiracy' - which really made a lot of sense to me at the time -

This book theorises that because of so many striking similarities between all the various avatars that have supposedly come and gone on earth - that essentially..

there was no single man at the genesis of Christianity but many characters rolled into one, the majority of whom were personifications of the ubiquitous solar myth, whose exploits were well known, as reflected by such popular deities as Mithra, Heracles/Hercules, Dionysus and many others throughout the Roman Empire and beyond.

The story of Jesus as portrayed in the Gospels is revealed to be nearly identical in detail to that of the earlier savior-gods Krishna and Horus, who for millennia preceding Christianity held great favor with the people in much the same way as Jesus does today.

Thus, the Jesus character is not unique or original, not "divine revelation." These redeemer tales are similar not because they reflect the actual exploits of a variety of men who did and said the identical things, but because they are representations of the same extremely ancient body of knowledge that revolved around the celestial bodies and natural forces

Thus my question...if this is so - how does this all pan out in terms of the overall validity of the the man billy purports existed as a prophet named Jmmanuel...?

for example does billy say that there were 12 disciples - or not? according to the solar myth theory - the 12 disciples effectively operating as being just symbolic of the 12 houses that the sun passes through on its traversal through the zodiac. Hence easy to see the problem here - if it is the case that billy is saying that Jmmanuel DID have 12 diciples - also does billy say that after jmmanuel was crucified - that he had a resting time of three days - for example this could be problematic aswell.

Alternatively - could it be that the ruling power elite forces down through the ages - have successively warped and falsifed the stories concerning each truthful prophet and teacher THAT DID emerge - each one in turn being amalgated into the same - self serving astological sybmol laden
story that we see over and over in all the differnt mythologies...and Jmmanuel here being no different - one of the many others - who's histories merely came to be falsified in turn.

To conclude -- Does the story of Jmmanuel as Billy conveys to us rest easy with the Solar Mythos theory --- or is there instead a clash???

Also for example does billy tell us where exactly Jmmanuel was born? ie was it in Bethlehem?

Because according to the solar myth theory

bethlehem - the word itself translating into house of bread...

thus this being merely a reference to the constellation virgo. - Equating here in turn with the element of mother mary being a virgin.

there are many more examples like these.
just thought i'd give another.

I just had to have a laugh about the recent posts, including my own. I decided to have a look at my astrology for today and yesterday out of curiosity -- although haven't done that for a long time -- and can see how even if the Plejaren say we are not as accurate with our predictions as we could be yet with astrology, there are some interesting indications in my own chart eg.,

If you have to defend your point of view when challenged, you will not back down but will argue your case with vigor and passion.

this is the influence of Mars on my chart today

So please, I say this to anyone -- I do not intend to be rude or hurt anyone by anything I say -- I have moments that I am very quiet, and moments when I am bubbling with responses.

we are all in this together -- some of us just paddle in different directions whilst in the same boat, and this can lead to irritation as it effectively stops forward movement.

"...the Plejaren say we are not as accurate with our predictions as we could be yet with astrology, there are some interesting indications in my own chart eg.,"

The P's also said the same thing about accuracy of our numerology predictions but I think we're not far off judging by reading how accurate Billy's numerology chart was done on this page by that Decoz numerology software.

Thank you Robyn and Melli . Your input really does help balance the forum .

I was just saying recently how many of us have evolved past getting into conflicts here ( as I look around the room , whistling ).

Kind Regards , Mark
