Hi Earthling.

Those animals at celestial HQ will engage in just about any sort of publicity stunt .... to get publicity and have their grubby nonsense dressed up as profound scientific discourse plastered over the subservient corporate media for the flock of sheeeeeple to swallow.

Just covering their lying ases for when it hits the fan.

So if President Obama announces that ruins have been found on the moon courtesy of the latest LCrosse mission .... they can at least say, phew yes we discussed that possibility .... and we wonder if the inhabitants who built those ruins were of the true faith ..... tra la la la la ....
They will probably even start looking for signs of crosses :-) and sponsor an explorer mission to look for ruins of a church ....

Vaticano spin doktore are probably already drafting an official welcome message and working out the details of a ceremony when an ET ambassador comes to visit his holiness, kiss the ring and declare that our new found alien brothers are ready to convert to the true faith.
Cheers.

You're funny Ramirez. Guess the Vatican liked what they saw during the LCross mission. I see nasa had to get the $20k moneyman to tell me what a dick weed I am, lol. (Their words, not mine, lol)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEV4IoUh_Gk&feature=email
See the two discs coming out of the crater at 24:36? Did you see all the "stars" streaming between the earth and the moon at 27:37? Or the evidence of the SpeX slit at 23:26 which by nasa's own admission is used to track circular moving objects. And of course they don't want you to see this infrared image in which a circular moving object looks like it is coming away from the moon, but that frame is quickly moved out of position, so you don't actually get to see the end result at 6:10 on this site:

Hi John,

Very interesting article but even more amusing are various readers comments.

"Good argument, Nick, but honestly why do any religious organisations get support from taxpayers like this? You can argue that scientology isn't a "real" religion and, say, catholicism is, but the only difference is that catholicism has a 1000+ year record of the same things that scientology has been only doing for decades"

"Delete the name scientology from this transcript and it could be about any number of religous groups enjoying tax free status, brainwashing people, abusing power etc, etc. One could argue that it is rife in most organised religions. BTW what is the difference between a cult and a religion?"

"I copy pasted the article into my word processor, replaced every instance of 'Scientology' with 'Catholicism' and found the result was an accurate and moving speech by Senator Xenophon (except for the bit where L Ron Hubbard is mentioned - the man cannot be responsible for all the great works of fiction). I can't wait until I have the time to replace it with 'Islam' later this afternoon."

Take a look at this .....

Cult Of Zombology exposed.
Cheers.

Scientology is nothing like Catholicism, imo. For starters the Catholic church doesn't track down and attack their members (by any means) that leave the organization like Scientology does. The mafia comes to mind there, which is a criminal organization.

The Vatican doesn't go after ALL people who leave its organization like Scientology does. That better?

Notice the moment when the stare-down occurs .

Sorry Darren , but for the moment ,you are the best example of "What are YOU lookin' at ?" That is , the schoolyard , or prison-yard aggression .

One person asserts one thing , another tries to counter the thought , and here you have it , an atmosphere where no one is allowed to have a different opinion .

This is relevant to the topic of the WHOLE FIGU FORUM .

If we can't get behind these small interpersonal atrocities , then why do we bother trying to better ourselves ? We really have to improve ourselves together , the only way that it really counts .

Don't get the idea that I think I'm any better . I'm just older now, that's all .

Ciao !

Mark, I would just like to say thank you for making me realize what an idiot I am at times. Your post above brought exactly that which I am guilty of to my attention and I appreciate your saying what you did. Sometimes it takes someone from a more objective outside point of view to bring things back into line.

Darren you may be right and I meant no harm.

In an case , gentlemen , we are dong better than not . I was merely commenting about the effluous extra innuendo that occur as we quietly want to strangle each other over thousands of miles and different time zones. To sum my point , we can all afford to be more courteous .

Not always so easy to do !
But , when practiced , makes you look very mature and evolved .

Take your pick, which is most sick .... demonstrating yet again the celestial work of big daddy in mysterious ways.

Truly, I have no words to express my disgust. Sometimes I feel people have just lost the power to think by becoming religion slaves. Think that Nepalese government is contributing 4.5million to the cause of this slaughter!

What's the difference in killing 20,000 buffalo for sacrifice and killing 20,000 for the big appetite of people...

Not that I agree with what those mindless butchers are doing...

Hi Adrian,

Sacrifice is playing to a delusion that there is some sort of tangible reward being offered for destroying life.
If you examine the images dead animals are simply left on the ground in what appears to be a stadium. The hindu taliban at work.

If animals are killed with a view to consumption then leaving them in pieces on the ground as a spectacle is hardly conducive to hygiene .... would you buy any food export from Nepal ?

So when the next earthquake wipes out x number of Nepalese will they slaughter 500,000 animals to ward off evil spirits and bad luck ?
Cause & effect ..... wait for it.
Cheers.
